I must be slipping.  I thought I had already posted this earlier.  My bad. :-(  Anyway, enjoy.  More soon.  The forcast for this week is for some rough waves.  Getting the sun, sky, surf and wind to come together might give me the image I'm longing for.  It took me all of 45 minutes to make these.

Here are a few shots from my latest trek to the Beach.  There were some 40 mph gusts, so I was hoping for some spray.  Unfortunately, it also blew away all the clouds which would have made for a pretty sunrise :-(  The sea was calm and trying to get the light, wind and breakers to all come together was a challenge.  As you can see by the company I had, I remembered to bring popcorn.  Seagulls don't work for free.  So, take your shoes off and run the slide show.  Feel free to leave a comment with your favorite shot.  Thanks.

A bunch of guys took advantage of record-breaking temperatures ( 80 ) to go skimming at Virginia Beach, so I grabbed a few shots, since nothing else was going on.  BTW, the water temp was 42.  Then I stopped at the Veterans' Memorial for a couple of shots.  In the background is the new Convention Center.

Just a few more shots I got after the tourist season.  I like to venture down to the beach when the weather gets colder and share my lunch with the seagulls.  So peaceful.
