Penny`s Pieces of Ohio

I`ve spent several days in a whirl of throwing up, headaches ,itchy rashes,diarhhea, and kidney problems - all due to chemo. I know I`ve survived it because I am here to write about it. Although my bloodcount will remain low, all these other effects should continue to subside.

Thanks for all your lovely commments and thank you to those  you have sent cards!

I got my new eyeglasses. They do look pretty cool if I do say so myself.

Other than doing a quick journal entry, if you see me on your buddy list it`s probably not really me. My friend may be on checking my mail from time to time while on the phone with me. LOL. It`s easier - a LOT easier for me.

So that`s my update for now. I wish I could go back to writing about my normal life, but that got thrown a bit upside downfor now.

Oh, and about the title of this entry----

They taste wonderful after about 3 days of no food!

  Friends are the "family" you choose ....  
  I am very proud to say that I am of this "family".  I celebrate the life of one of my oldest friends.  The memories of all the moments shared for 35+ years will never be forgotten.  She was always there ... good or bad ... a friend 'til the end.. lucky me!

  "I'm just here to celebrate life"...Penny's intro to her journal.  
  
  It is with great sadness that I learn of Penny's passing today, October 1st 2007.  
  
  All our prayers have been answered by He who knows which is best for us all.  Penny is no longer ill; now, she is in the presence of the Lord whom she loved above all else.  How happy she must be!   I can only imagine the beautiful place she is in right now...thank you, all her friends, for your prayers!  Please keep Corey, Ron, Vivian, Sheila and all Penny's family in your prayers during this difficult time.  
  
  As hard as it is to let her go, we must remember to celebrate her life, as she would have wanted, as she did.
