Tonight I was reminded of a photograph that we took and was published a couple of years ago - a photo that I had pretty much forgotten about. Anyway, while in search of that particular photograph I found a CD with photographs from our last trip to DC. I thought I would go ahead and revisit DC before my actual trip in a few short days. :-)
No trip to DC would be complete without taking a look at the white house.
As we were leaving the White House, this is what we saw. The sky looked like it was on fire!

I live about 9 hours away to DC....and I'd like to go back there for some sightseeing/tours..hopefully next year.
