Time: 7:16:00 PM EDT

Today Sonny and I met a family at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma.  It's one of our favorite places to go for portrait sessions as you get a bit of everything: A grassy park, pretty trees, colorful flowers, a pond with Koi, ducks & turtles, forest, rose gardens, a Japanese garden, the waterfront, an old fort and some really old trains at a logging museum.  How can you miss with all that?

The shoot today was a free session provided through Operation: Love Reunited.  If you know someone in the military  who have been deployed, about to deploy or about to return home, have them check this service out!  Just click the link above.

Anyway, while we at the park photographing the family we saw bunnies, ducklings and turtles ... Oh MY!

I was surprised  how close the bunny let me approach.  Right after I took this photo he/she went back to eating grass.  I was just a foot away at most. :-)

Below is a bully seagull who didn't want the turtles on HIS rock.  The seagull was poking at the turtles one by one until they jumped off HIS rock.
