It's simply amazing that no one in the media ever questioned these things when these people were running for office. There's a story about GHWB, son of a billionaire, arriving in Texas in a red Studebaker as if he was a self made man. But this, by some accounts, was just a code to not ask too many questions about George's history, unless you wanted to get hit by a blood red truck.
