Bush Won't Face the Press

Angry | by Paul J. Norton

Bush Never Faces Up

Bush Blows off press with spoiled rich boy act. He wouldn't face Sheehan to tell her why her son died in the war. Maybe he would like to tell me to my face why he's had me under illegal surveillance for years and years.

Let me tell you, George W. Bush, we got a problem, you and I. And remember this, that as much as is possible for someone like me, at least I told you to your face.

i think g.w.Bush's incomplete commuting of scooter libby's
jail sentence just short of a full pardon has the equa~static effect
of disappointing the factional republican syncopants as it inflames
all partison democrats. clearly cindy sheehan has been heading
along this forthright path for quite some time. her recent challenge
to ms. pelosi to 'wake up and smell the coffee' in the context of
the starting of impeachment procedings has the added effect that inactivity
and situational inertia shall result in a challenge to a cherished exalted
house seat. at the risk of an upset should the mood of the country be
more volatile, ms. pelosi has to ask herself the deeper questions...

    duty, honor, country

the democrats have the ball in their court. if mr. obama + ms. clinton
are the only emotional investment they are willing to make, they may
hold back.  however ... methinks...if they as a party of political beings
feel a gathering fury underneath them from the electorate, we could
see them trying to bring the "W" to a degree of public accountability.
yes...the corrosive inroads into our basic freedoms has reached a new low
on its steadily downward path these past six decades. the sense of a silver spoon
entitlement that TRUELY isn't drives this tragic, dishonest & selective tunnel vision...
