Hump Day Hell....Nah Not Really
It really hasn't been a bad day. Just a boring day! I caught up on all the dvr recordings and now I'm bored out of my mind...woe is me...Lol. Yesterday the kids and I loaded up and went to go get Bekahs' birth certificate for school. Since we were on that side of town we stopped by my mil for a bit to visit. Then it was off to the school to take them her certificate and I got a supply list while I was there. I actually got one before orientation day. The list was long for both the kids, so last night after dinner and baths and the kids being all tucked in to bed at the school bedtime I called my partner in crime Nicki(we don't really commit crimes...or do we muahahaha) and ahe was finishing up poker and so she joined me at Walmart to shop. I wasn't the only parent there doing the late night shopping without the kiddos, smart we are. I managed to get everything on the lists except for fat pencils that Bekah has to have and 7 folders of certain colors with pockets and fasteners that the whole store was out of. Of course it couldn't be easy I had to have something slow me down when I was on a roll. Oh get this, Bekah had to have 3- 80 page spiral notebooks non perforated. Ok well I thought no problem right...wrong. I can find 70 page spiral WITH perforated edges and I could find 80 page but it wasn't spiral and it was perforated. So I just got the 80 page non spiral non perforated and the teachers will just have to deal. I even asked the lady working in that section and she said they had none and she had never seen them like that and that other parents had been in there looking and had been to Office Max, Staples and eveywhere else and no one had non-perforated edges. I really don't see what it matters whether the page can be torn out or not...big whoop. So needless to say I have to go back and get the folders they didn't have and the fat pencils that are supposed to be in " in a few days" to complete the supply list. I swear you just about spend 400 dollars on damn school supplies and clothes and all. And it specifies on the list Crayola brand crayons (which I usually get those anyway because they color better) and Fiskars brand scissors, now that I could have got the cheap kind but did they have the cheap ones...nope. Anyway after a full cart we made our way to the checkout and I was never so happy to get the heck outta Walmart. Now tomorrow there is orientation to go to between 8:30 and 11 so that ought to be fun to. Can you feel the sarcasm in the air...Lol.
The house has been coming along okay until last week when a building inspector came out there to say that we needed a permit to do remodeling. Now how did they even know to come out there in the first place. We suspect someone that called just out of spite, for whatever reason I don't know. Anyway had to go spend 100 dollars on a permit and lost about a week of work. So the house is behind a week but did get started back up today. No biggie just a little set back. We got the tile in that will go in the kitchen and it's the terra cotta style 16 inch squares and it's so pretty, I love it. Unfortunately we have to sell the house when it's all done, but I told Jason that after seeing it all done I'm going to want to move in. It's going to be really pretty I think. We are already have people coming asking about it and how much and all, so I don't think it will have any problem selling.
Remember when I told ya'll that Jason got transferred out to Tampa, well he's back in Plant City again. Ever since he left the shop has gone downhill. His boss was running it the other day and he told Jason that out of 65 customers 40 of them asked where Pewee (Jason's nickname ) was. So the owner and partner that we went into buying the house with came to Jason yesterday and offered him back Plant City with a very sizeable raise and the same bonus he has been making and he keeps the company truck to drive. Of course Jason jumped all over it and then called me all excited. He was gladly willing to take it because it will mean less hours and more money and more time with us. That was something that was starting to get to him in a bad way, not being able to have much time with us. He didn't get home from work until 11:30 at night on Monday. Now tell me how ridiculous that is when you go in at 6:30. So from now on he will be getting home around 7 which was way better than 8-9 that it had been. All in all life is pretty damn good right now and I hope it stays that way.
Well I'm gonna get off here and go get dinner started for the troops. I hope ya'll are having a great week. Love you all

Pewee must be an awesome worker...good for him! I have not bought one thing for my kids for school. NO MONEY.
But in high school, its all about cash, not fat pencils. I have not watched anything on my DVR in a long time. Sigh.

I haven't even begun to shop for the school supplies yet and I am dreading it! People are clearing the stuff out already and I noticed that there isn't that big of a selection for backpacks and all either anymore. YIKES! Oh well, my kids don't want to shop for their stuff, so they will have to deal with what they get. You are smart going to Walmart that late at night. My kids never go to sleep, so I couldn't do that without them all coming!!
Hugs and love,

That's so cool that Jason is getting more money and less hours. He sounds like he is a wonderful worker.
