Where the Heck Have I Been...
I have been here but been busy . Plus do you ever get into that mood where you just don't feel like writing...well that has been me the past few days or however long it's been since I have wrote. Everything is great on the home front I have just been occupied with other stuff. The weekend we did the same thing as we normally do and then Saturday night we went out for Nicki's birthday and stayed home all day Sunday and sometimes staying home feels good. The kids first week of school went off without a hitch and they love it. It's kinda the same thing for Jay but Bekah loves school and I'm so glad she does. She got her very first A+ the other day and she really didn't know what that meant she just knew she had a stamp on her paper, but the proud mama I am put it up on the fridge, as I do with both the kids accomplishments. She takes a snack with her everyday to school and she like that and Jay gets to have a bottled water in class and he thinks that is the coolest thing. His teacher I guess got tired of all of em' getting up and getting water from the fountain and told then they could bring water to keep at their desk so that's what he does.
Yesterday I did a ceiling to floor cleaning of the house..the whole house. There wasn't a room untouched or a dust bunny not shoo'd away. After I was done with all that I called Stanley Steemer out to clean the carpets in the whole house. We like to get them done about every six months or so. I can't stand to have dirty looking carpets and with kids they are bound to get dirty. I was a tired chicky last night and was in bed at 9:30. Today the kids had appointment to go to the dentist. Bekah and Jay both had to get some fillings. Bekah was sedated and now she is sleeping. They said she would off and on all day today. She was a trooper though and they said she slept through the whole thing. I would hope so, she was back there for 2 hours. We came home and I gave them both some ice cream. You are supposed to give them milk products to help with the nausea and Bekah wasn't allowed to eat after midnight , so the last any of us had to eat was last night around 7. She slept all the way home and came home and drank some milk ate some ice cream and is zonked out again on my bed. Bless her heart she was trying to eat and was getting it all over her cause her mouth was still a little numb. I think it's back to normal now though.
I think that's about all, nothing exciting to report. I think I might take a nap myself being that I have been up since 6:15 this morning and am kinda tired. I haven't visited journals yet but I am gonna get to them all today. I have been behind and the weekends seem to be where I get behind the most. I haven't forgot about ya'll just been busy. Well, I have to clean my house! lol I'm glad ya'll got through the dentist okay. Jakey has an appt. to get a filling on 9/25. The dr. says they will use laughing gas. Talk to you soon! Love ya and GBU, Shelly

WTG to Bekah for her first A++ I bet that made you very proud. Poor kids, though, for visits to the dentist; never my cup of tea. Take care of yourself; was hoping you were doing okay since you hadn't journaled in a bit. Don't worry about visiting my journal; not much happening over there. Just take care of yourself and your precious family.

well it sure sounds like you have been a busy beaver. So sorry about Bekah at the dentist Ouch poor thing. That's nice that Jay can have water at his desk, beats getting up all the time.
