Behind Hazel Eyes

Wow... I feel so special today. My entry on Life's Defining Moment was featured on CarnivAOL today and then my sil Brenda picked me as one of her Guest Editor picks. Not to toot my own horn or nothing but, toot toot baby...Lol. Thank you Paul and Brenda I appreciate it. While I am thanking people let me also say thanks to those who left me such nice comments on my last couple entries. You guys and girls are the best.

This week has been pretty good and layed back. The kids were out of school yesterday, but we stayed home and I caught up on some laundry...it's never ending around here. It feels good to just stay home sometimes and not have to go anywhere plus we all got to sleep in a little. They were back in school this morning and poor Bekah had an accident before class this morning and they gave her something else to wear. I noticed when she was walking to the car in a skirt and she went in pants. Luckily she said no one laughed at her or made fun. That's what I was worried about. All I need is for her to get a bad taste in her mouth about school and I will have an ordeal on my hands about her wanting to go back.

Nothing exciting today to report. I went over to moms' this morning and went to Walmart with her and my brother. I was so proud of myself I walked out with just exactly what I needed. Nothing more nothing less. I think that's a first for me, I usually can never escape that place without spending a pretty penny (in southern talk that's alot of money). Whoops hold on I did walk out with something less...my postcards. I had them on my list to get (I actually remembered them this time) and they didn't have them, can you believe that Walmart not having postcards. They have just about everything else under the sun but that. That's just my luck though, so I'll probably have to go to a pharmacy or something. I haven't bought a postcard in...forever....hell I don't know if I have ever bought one.

Tomorrow is Friday and I so look forward to that. I used to look forward to it before but now that the kids are both in school I really love it. I have another pleasure party to go to this weekend. My aunt is hosting this time and my cousin is the... I don't know what you call it but she is the one that shows the stuff and organizes the games. I am hosting my own at my house in September. I only agreed to it to help my cousin out. Plus I will get a discount on what I order for being a hostess. Can't beat that with a wooden stick.

  I like the music effect, I can't seem to figure out how to do it! I want to see a picture of Sophie, I am yorkie owner, always have been. I am new at this pekinese stuff!
