Saw this on Linda's and Pharmolo's journals, and decided to do it myself.
Here's the idea: review the past year in your journal by taking the first line from the first post of each month in your journal and putting them in one entry. (ok, mine wasn't ALWAYS the first line... I took the best line out of the first entry of each month).
January: Fifty Things You May Not Know (or even want to know) About Me.......
February: I had a young guest stay with me this week... a girlfriend of mine went on a cruise, and her 11 year old daughter stayed with me for the week.
March: I went with a girlfriend to see WILD HOGS last night, it was pretty funny!!
April: Chris and I went to see the Angels game with the whole office staff and their families, my boss bought us all tickets, isn't that COOL!!
May: OK, now for my public humiliation part of my entry... I just foundout that an old friend I haven't seen in quite awhile is reading this WEIGHT LOSS journal.
June: I just bought a new tea set and wanted to share it with you.... I thought it was just so beautiful....
July: Last Saturday, I got a call from my aunt Sylvia, who lives out in the middle of NOWHERE.... the Arizona desert to be exact!!! She had a few weeks off of work and, with no real money to go on vacation, she was sitting at home alone, bored. So I said "Why don't I come and get you, you could camp out here for as long as you want... we could hang out and do things, it'd be like a little vacation??"
August: A beach pic I took in San Diego recently at night....... I made a video of some pics, but haven't learned how to post it here, yet!!
September: I went to Arizona last weekend because my aunt bought me a batch of Hatch Green Chiles from New Mexico, so to me, that was SO worth the trip... LOL!!!
October: I made our reservations for our Thanksgiving getaway to Tampa Bay!!
November: Chris and I went to see WICKED, last night.... have you heard of the Broadway Musical??!!
December: I finally did it.... and all by myself!!!! I'm so technologically challenged, and I DID IT!!!!

I have such good friends.... a few days ago, my friend, Taisha, (actually, the daughter of my friend in Florida) brought me dinner... some chicken soup, salad, and bread from a restaurant up the street. Today, my good friend, Roseann, brought me some chicken soup, a box of Passion tea, a box of SOFT tissue with lotion (for my raw nose), a half gallon of OJ, a Butterfinger, AND A STARBUCKS Caramel Macchiato!! (She knows what's important!!) I told her not to bother, because first of all, my apt. is contaminated with germs, but second, I have to go out later anyway... but she did it anyway, such a good friend!!! It's a blessing to have good people around!! I love my life!! She even stayed to have coffee with me.
Everyone keeps recommending Thera-flu... it ain't even TOUCHING this one!! I got relief for about 5 minutes, then it all came back... oh well, thanks for trying to help... I do appreciate it!! I went to the dr last night, she said no infection, just a really bad cold. I wouldn't have gone for a cold, but had to make SURE nothing else was wrong, I don't get sick like this often... it's been a year... and even then it wasn't THIS bad... well, not that I remember. I just got my voice back today... FOUR FULL DAYS with NO voice!! Chris was in heaven... LOL!!
Well, I will probably write another entry later, because I'm bored to death... stir crazy!!

Every year I used to loose my voice for two weeks, like clock work..my hubby waited for it with glee! Watch out though because all the viruses I got killed my thyroid I think its called Hasimotos disease...and I gained so much weight. Now I am on pills but still cant get my metabolism up...Sandi
