Joann's Weight Loss Journey

He said, "Mom, if you're gonna play this thing, you're gonna have to cut those nails!" 

I said "No, No, if I can type with nails, I can play guitar with nails!!!"  It didn't work!! 

And NOW he said something about rubbing my fingertips on the sidewalk to make them CALLOUSED!!!  Is it all worth it!!???  LOL!!!!

  I just wanted to stop by visit and say thanks for stopping by my journal. I had to chuckle at this entry. My other half (Doc) Is a guitar teacher. He's always telling his students the same thing. He actually keeps nail clippers in his desk at work. I will definitely continue to visit. Let me know how your lessons go. (Hugs) Indigo

  I would be loss with out my nails I couldn't function I have had long nails for years and can't imagine cutting them

  Do not know about rubbing your fingertips on the pavement but long nails are a  no no, just like the piano and no doubt other musical instruments lol

  My man plays the guitar and I have seen the tips of his fingers! I think you really have to want to play to get through it all. Your son is wise. Love Pam xx
