Joann's Weight Loss Journey

This is not the best pic (kind of blurry.. sorry), I took it with my phone, and more, but I just realized that I better not post the other pics... they have teens in them and I didn't get permission, (except for the one in the pic). 

This is Chris and his dad today at the pizza party, which turned out REALLY well.  Chris was happy at how everything turned out and so was I.  Chris had 6 of his close friends there, and my niece, Chris's dad, grandparents, and a few other family friends were also there.  Pretty good for a Wednesday afternoon, huh??!!!

Chris made out really well with the cash gifts, and I received a great comment (several times) from my MIL on what a great job I did raising him.... I already knew that, = ) but it's nice to hear from a MIL!!  You know?!  (BTW, Chris's dad DOES tell me that often too... he admits he didn't have much to do with 'raising' him.  No hard feelings, I actually think Chris turned out better than he would have otherwise... Shhh, I didn't say that!)

Chris was excited that all his friends got to meet his dad, and his dad and grandparents were very happy to meet (and were very complimentary of) all Chris's friends too.  Everything turned out great!!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes for my son and my niece.  You're all so nice!!

  I'm glad your party was such a success!  :)  It's nice when inlaws give compliments---especially when they are ex-inlaws!!  :)  Give yourself credit when it's due---pat yourself on the back--"good mama, good!"  Julie :)
