Glory Days
Fuzzy won 2nd place in the Championship Game.
Yes, that is a very nice way of saying they lost the game. :(
They played really well, just not well enough!
Fuzzy was hit by a pitch in his first at bat, right on his side, toward his back. He has a perfectly round bruise... getting uglier as time goes by.
The town puts on a nice day. The game is called by announcers, they announce all the kids names, and do a big trophy ceremony for the kids in the Championship Majors game, but also for everyone from t-ball on up. There is free food, hot dogs, soda, and ice cream. And, they do a big trick tray raffle of sports goodies.
Guess what? My mom won the Grand Prize!!!
6 Yankee tickets and a custom made baseball glove engraved with Fuzzy's name!!! Totally cool!
Fuzzy was so happy he totally didn't care about the loss anymore!
