May 5th Lawrences Warbler
From Rudy Badia relayed to Tom Fiore:
I offer a report from Rudy Badia who birded in Prospect Park, Brooklyn on Monday morning: a singing male LAWRENCE's (type) hybrid WARBLER was noted at the Binnen Bridge near the Music Pagoda (as described by RB), & a nice variety of more expected migrants was also reported by Rudy including a Blackpoll Warbler (no specific location in Prospect for that).
Listowner NOTE: Janet Zinn saw a Lawrence's Warbler Saturday early afternoon in the north Lullwater side. The bird is hanging around. Lawrence's is a hybrid of Brewsters which is a hybrid of Golden-winged and Blue-winged Warblers. A truly rare sighting.
