Another Poll: Business Cards
I would like to enlist your help once again. I am currently trying to redesign my business cards to go for a more "mature" look. I would like to get away from having a cropped version of my photographs on the cards. As some mentioned before, it is a bit busy and I'm all about simplifying things now. I have come about this as my final version and am pretty happy with it. However, before doing a mass printing, I would like some other opinions. Let me know if you like it, hate it, or would like to see some changes made to the final version.

Ahh, right up my alley. I used to be a printer in a small family business. We did a lot of business cards. I like the final idea you came up with. There are a lot of different ways you can do your cards, that don't have to make it busy. One of them is choosing a textured card stock, ink samples, etc. Most times people go for the plain stock with saving money in mind. In the end you have to ask what imagine do I want to portray. Spend a little more money and give the idea your on a professional level and care about your business, or go the cheaper route and come off looking like that.
I agree when it comes to the info. you provide on the card: simple is always better. The red is a great idea to draw people's attention. If you have your cards done professionally ask about font choices and what they recommend. I would definitely go with a textured card stock though. Just my opinion.....in the end the choice is yours. It's very good Greg, but I kinda agree with Nancy. Maybe somehow you could accentuate your areas of experitise, i.e. nature, etc.

I like it, but don't get a real sense of what you do as a "fine art photographer". Maybe something on it to say a little bit about that. (to the point)
