Challenge Results: Winter Blues
The results are in for the last AOL Community Challenge themed Winter Blues. My entry has been awarded second place in a tie with Kat, who you will be getting to know a bit better in a few weeks.
Winter Chill
I would like to congratulate my friend Betty who took top honors with this challenge. It is great to be able to come together as a photographer's community and have these challenges. They serve so many other purposes than just to see who is judged the highest. It is a chance for all of us to stretch our creativity, think outside of the box, and to have fun with others that share our interests.
Before the Community Photo Challenge became a reality, I was approached to help out with its development. Unfortunately, my time constraints would not allow that kind of added responsibility. I think that Marie, Vicki, Gina, and Martha have done an excellent job with this venture. I knew it was going to be a huge success when I heard the idea, but I think it has actually surpassed that mark. Thank you all for doing this challenge, it is a great thing for our community!
