Monday Photo Shoot: Being Green

New Monday Photo Shoot #12: In honor of St. Patrick's Day and in anticipation of spring, show us something green. If you want to photograph something that really is green, fine. If you want to photograph something that's definitely not green and then edit it to look green, that's even better!

Here is another shot from last year...when there was some green to be had.  It is from the Blue Ridge Parkway at the Lynn Cove Viaduct.  I've never been much of one to alter the colors in my pictures, so I don't feel comfortable doing that here for this Photo Shoot.  However, since actual green is accepted, I picked this one for the lush green in the trees which frames the roadway. The picture can be viewed in my gallery in the Blue Ridge Parkway Room.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is beautiful any time of the year.  I usually see it in November.  It's nice to see it so green.  Beautiful photo.

Its funny, no matter how "we" force ourselves into our environment, it always finds a way to shine through it all.Great shot

I miss seeing green! I'm about ready to find a big stick and start prodding Mother Nature with it to wake her out of her slumber. I can't take another inch of snow here in NY. (Hugs) Indigo
