Well let me tell you the last 2 days haven't been easy... Tuesday night we got a FDD (freezer, dairy, deli Truck) and a pallet I guess was on top of a pallet of eggs... a big no no... well we ended up with a buncha boxes of broken eggs... and guess who got to deal with the aftermath... ME!!!

Of coarse it's like 10 something at night... not long to go will we go home. I'm at the food compactor with my cart of oozzing boxes of eggs... I had to open each box and either dump the eggs in teh compactor or tear just the lid off the cartons and toss the eggs. It was tedious work... many boxes full of cartons of broken oozing eggs... not to mention all the egg oozing all over the floor everywhere....

I got asked to stay after and finish teh eggs... meanwhile my supervisor and the crew leaves at end of the shift... I'm still tossing eggs.. time flys by... way past the 15 or 20 minutes he thought it would take me.... by 12:20 I'm freaking out... cause Mom's out in parking lot waiting for me and we aren't supposed to do major overtime. So I take what was left of the eggs (3 boxes of cartons) to the 3rd shift dairy person and explain what happened... then I try and clean up the egg all over the floor... it's everywhere... It's getting late.. I'm tired and exhausted and sore (another story on that)... so I find the Asst. Manager for Night crew and ask if there was anyone who could help me clean up the egg.. but only after explaining why I was still at work... So the night supervisor came and took over the cleaning so I could go home.... yeah him!!!

Tonight he told me that they had to mop the floor like 8 times... and it ended up taking off some of the yellow paint they had blocking out the clearance area for the compactor...

Meanwhile I believe my supervisor got talked to by management (though I'm not absolutely positive about that)... though not only for that... I later found out that supposedly Candy hasn't been getting done either... the girl who took it over from me wasn't able to get it done as she too is being called away from it to do something else...

It was an akward and frustrating day....

Oh and as to why I was sore... We had a very heavy very tall pallette of Juice and water that was leaning... I got asked to downstack about 1/3 of it to carts.... to do this I had to get a ladder... So I'm lugging 12 and 24 packs of sparkling water and juice down the ladder to the carts... just lil ole me... LOL I was careful... I put the stuff down on the top step of the ladder... and got down then got the stuff off the ladder... the ladder was short....

Things I do to get paid LOL!!

oh yeah class starts this Monday!!!!

Getting setup for school. I finally moved my MAC into my room and set it up on my big Filing Cabinet. I have one of those 2 drawer extra big wooden filing cabinets. Which puts it right next to my PC. And luckily I plugged in a networking cable from MAC to the Modem router box.... and waaahlah I got internet on the MAC. Didn't have to do anything else to it... I also got me a small cordless mouse for the MAC... the one that came with the machine was too sensitive for me.

Now I'm just having to make sure I have all the upgrades of programs that I need like Safari and Adobe Acrobat...

I got my book voucher the other day. And it's only $120... that'll help for some of my books but will only be half the money if I buy the books new from the book store. I got one of the books I need on Ebay.com for .95 cents + $3.50 S/H. Which is really good. I'm trying to see if I can find my Photoshop and Illustrator books on Ebay.com for cheap.. especially since they will be upgrading the software to CS4 (Creative Suite 4) soon.... I should be able to order my software sometime after classes start. For my Computer Literacy Class (bummer I gotta take it but mayhaps it'll be a easy grade and a refresher for MACs) I'll probably need my Photoshop and Illustrator software.

I'm gonna be bored my 1st two classes... one is about learning online and creating goals and objectives and working towards them.... 2nd class is Computer Lit. I know most of the stuff they will teach already... I remember I was bored stiff the last time I took this class... Though each class is only 5 1/2 weeks long... so it won't be too bad!

My sister has dragged me to Facebook.com.. Think I mentioned that once before... there I hunt for mice, get ticketed for parking in no parking spaces, and get superpoked. Not to mention being periodically kidnapped to places like Phuket and New York and Rio Janeiro. Oh and there can be interesting pillow fights... It's alil more interesting to keep in touch this way than a simple email sometimes...

oh update on my xmas present for sister and brother.... it's turning out really kewl... I've gotten the family trees done and 2 pages (Grandma's pictures and Grandpa's pictures) done and printed up... I'll be working on more pages of the old family pictures and who they are...

Here's a sample: Grandpa's Page

Grandpa was a USAF contractor on the Inspection crew for the Apollo Missions. Grandma kept all his paperwork from when he worked there. All the letters of congrats for a welldone job. And any schooling he had. Grandpa even had a license to fly planes and looks like he had some time with the simulators at NASA. He also worked on the Minutemen Missile Silos project. He had an interesting time when he was in his early adulthood.

Well about 8 or 9 years ago I was put on Academic Termination at the Art Institute of Atlanta... Well I had to recently write a letter to the Dean of Student Affairs. I just got an email back stating that my appeal was accepted and I've been Reinstated.... so I can now go ahead and finish my Financial Aide stuff with my planner for the Art Institute of Pittsburg Online... Still trying to get it all done to start classes on Oct. 6th...

Because of work and money issues it looks like I'll be going part time.. 6 classes a year. So I might not graduate till Fall of 2012. Though they are still calculating my credits for classes I've already taken and seeing what can be transfered to my credit listing for the program....

My Financial Aide planner talked about them looking at my GPA and seeing if I qualify for any of their inschool scholarships... but I doubt I will... though if they look at my GPA from nursing it might not be so bad.... I was doing okay in nursing except for my last quarter... I didn't pass my 2nd Quarter Nursing class... had a buncha trouble with that class...

Just waiting for an email with my next steps for my Financial Aide... need to get this next ball rolling....

Well I got it... the Mac G4... it came early too. I wasn't supposed to get it till Friday. It today instead... at least it came while we were at home. :)

School Update: Still having a bit of trouble trying to get all the sucks in a row... It seems I was "Academically Terminated" from AIA... just means my GPA went down below a 2.0 for 2 quarters.... Hoping they won't hold me to it... it's been 8 or 9 years since I was in school... so now I gotta get a "Clearance Letter" from the Dean before I can sign up for schooling thru AIPO.... keeping finger crossed though....

other than that I'm not doing too much but working and sleeping.... with alil food thrown in. Oh yeah I'm working on a xmas present early... it's gonna take a few to make it...

I'm working on a mini scrapbook for my siblings... It will have pictures of our family (the older Generations...) some heirloom pictures they haven't really seen.. some I was able to collect thru my Genealogy project....

Found a Mac G4 computer also for about $164.99... it was on Ebay.com here's to hoping it works okay :) Also found one of my old Class Audit sheets that lists all the classes I had taken and which I needed to take... it has my grades on it too... I run about a "B" average I think... and I have about half my classes done I think...

One more day at work then I have my 2 days off... woo hooo can't wait... though not looking forward to a work day with no supervisors... It's "E's" weekend off and "R" is on a 6 day Vacation.... Luckily it's a no Truck day supposedly... so we should hopefully get alot of stuff done...

I probably could get away with the programs I have on my PC to do some of my homework, but here lies a major problem with that.... most companies and Graphic Designers (advertising people) use Macs. To get a job I would have to have a working knowledge of Macs and the software used in the Graphic Design community.

The collection of Adobe software I mentioned: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign and Dreamweaver aren't cheap and aren't ones you can download for free... though Adobe does have some software you can download for free, these aren't one of them. Photoshop alone at Bestbuy is like $600. Though thru the school online store I can get it for $199.98.

I would have to have the computer to do the work on and the software to use to be able to do my work at home... This online schooling means I don't have to go anywhere for class... I have class at home on my computer... and I'm always on the computer as it is... might as well put the time on something worthwhile.

I was about halfway done with my Graphic Design Associates Degree at the Art Insitute of Atlanta. One of the reasons I'm looking to go back into this area again.

Well it's an idea and a goal for me to work on... might take awhile to acquire the supplies but I'm thinking I'll work on it.... need to do something with my life... don't wanna work at Wal-mart for the rest of my life...

I've been sorta inspried by the Z Clan Cousins to try and go back to school... but it's not as easy for me as it is for them... they are all young and just out of High school. It's been 10 years for me and I'm kinda stuck where I'm at in life. To live where we live I've got to work Full time and pay half of all the bills. I don't know how to drive either. Going to class and working also can be a big pain.. but I got to looking online at some of the accredited online classes.

One I'm sorta interested in is the Art Institute of Pittsburg - Online Division. The lectures are online to listen to and read. We can scan/email our work into our Teacher... it's actually really kewl...

One slight hiccup... paying for it... but I could get Financial aide like I did last time I think... but still another Hiccup... there are a few kinda Requirements...

I could use PC/Win or Mac OS ... Mac's are from like $1500 to $3000. Then the classes require certain softwares.... now one kewl thing is I can get the software really low prises at the schools online store... If I went to bestbuy.com or some other online the softwares are like $600... I gotta have Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver, Abobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Flash. They range in price from $199.98 to $249.98. I'd also need a Digi Writing/drawing tablet which is another $100 roughly...

I'd like to finish my Graphic Design Associate's Degree... If I could get into the AI online program alot of credits from the Art Institute of Atlanta that I took back in 1998 and 1999 should transfer. Though it's been 10 years it might be better to go back and take some of the basic foundation classes like the Typography class, and mayhaps the Color Theory class...

for anyone wanting to see what I was looking at:: try www.AIonline.edu

also looked at Devry and the University of Phoenix online...

Let's see... I have a typical American family according to todays society... I have 4 brothers and 1 sister... sounds normal enough right... not!

My 3 oldest siblings: Michael, Deanna, and Donald are from my Mom's 1st marriage when she was young... I'm from her second marriage (my siblings were 12, 10 and 8 by the time I was born). After my parents divorced my father married again and had David and Michael....

Yup I have 2 brothers named Michael... not only that but their middle inital is the same "A". One is Andre and the other is Alexander... Still kinda weird

Well alot of my siblings are on myspace.com along with my niece and nephew... and I finally found out alot of the cousins from the Z Clan are on there too...

Okay Z Clan is my older Sibling's father's family... I grew up calling them aunts and uncles and cousins. I tend to think of them as my family also even though I'm not part of the Z Clan by blood... So it was kewl to get back in touch with some of the cousins... it's hard to believe them all grown up... One just got married last year. but hey we are in our 30's and 20's now with a few 18 and 19 year olds...

I call the Z family a clan because there are so many of them.. and most of them live in WV or close to it. There were 7 Z kids on the "Farm" and each of them had at least 2 kids themselves. Except for Uncle Greg... He only had 1 child. and Uncle Doug had 3 kids.

So I've been playing on myspace.com at http://www.myspace.com/cecebeth
