ARRRGGHHH!!!!
I don't even know where to start. What in the heck were the Raider Defenders thinking at that point in the game? AND what a BS call on that tripping penalty. It was a clear hold against the Chiefs and there was no call. But that's besides the point. How do the coaches call a loose defense with a three point lead? Why didn't they make the Chiefs work extra hard to earn their yards?
And Kerry Collins! Geee. This tree-trunk of a quarterback didn't show up until the fourth quarter and he did it in true Collins style: He threw an interception on his first play of the fourth quarter. That set up the second Kansas City touchdown and eventually cost the Raiders the game.
Overall, Lamont Jordan was solid. But he can't do it all by himself. The Raiders' achilles heel this season has been the subpar quarterback play and the stupid penalties. Again, those two things came back to haunt them.
At 3-5 and three games back of the Broncos, I am not sure where this season is going. Playing like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is not the best way to go through a season. It's frustrating, I'm frustrated, and I don't know what else to say. It's so darn disgusting to see how this team can just fold when victory is in reach!
