I left this as a comment for CrazyChiefTude, but I decided to post it on my blog because well, I liked it. So, for those that do read my blog, here it is:
You're still holding on to hope? Man, why do you do it to yourself? As long as Kerry Collins is quarterback and Norv Turner is coach, our Raiders don't have a prayer. I said it when Norv got here and the day when Rich went down with the broken neck, "We're in for it!" And they haven't disappointed..er..let me down...er..proven me wrong.
Kerry Collins has been washed up for years now. Maybe it was when he got whooped in the Super Bowl by the Ravens, maybe it was when Romo broke his jaw, I don't know and I don't care. I honestly feel like we're back to the days where we have sucky quarterbacks. Remember Marc Wilson? Todd Marinovich? How about Jay Schroeder? You know, except for Jeff Hostetler and Rich Gannon, the Raiders haven't had a decent quarterback since way back when Jim Plunkett still played. Sheesh!! It's over dude!
It's over dude! Bring in the rookie and let us see what he can do.
