Bob mentioned his boss Dick, took his brother to see an area where million dollar homes are being built. He wanted to share with Charlie the view to go along with the $$$ homes. We took a ride so I see the view and take what might be in the future lost images. 

I find it so sad the town of Laconia did not take over the property and making the area permantly available for us to see forever. 

There will be a club house (where I was standing taking photos) for the new home owners, overlooking one of the most outstanding views I've ever seen.  I hope I will be allowed to access the property during fall foilage season, allowing me to can take additional photos.

Spindle Point

One of the locals was sharing, years ago there was a Brook Mountain Inn in this location.  You can see still standing the fireplace.

Years ago when we were first married, Flo Diegan spent a week at the hotel that used to be on that spot called the Shangri-la.  When that was sold some time later, they changed the name to Brickyard Mountain which wasn't nearly as fancy and it went downhill from then on.  Then they turned it into condos which didn't do well either.  It's been up for sale for quite a few years.  No one was interested.  I'll never forget the view we got when we spent an evening with Flo.

Our weather was outstanding over the weekend.  We had a crisp feel of fallin air, the sun was shining, what a perfect weekend.

  Beautiful.  Reminds me of Lake Tahoe.  And also reminds me that I should be ever so grateful to live on this beautiful 68  acreas that God has seen fit to loan me and hubby dear for awhile!!!
