Thanksgiving weekend our grandson Alex was in a hockey tournament held at the Avon Old Farms.  Previous years I did not have the time to take a pictures of the beautiful old farm buildings on the school grounds.  This weekend I took  images of images of the buildings still in use.

  Oh wow....this brings back tons of memories.  My mom just loved Avon, CT...and held many celebrations at this wonderful farmhouse restaurant there.   My 30th birthday party...things like that.   What a beautiful place.

  I really like this building.  It looks so different from anything else I've seen which makes it very unique to me.  I love the old country feel to the smaller building, and the larger structure brings to mind castles of old.
