Mame sent a reply and information about the Red Garage entry. Not only an answer but a little history about old red garages :). Thank you Mame.
Yes, Betty, I know what it is. Exactly as you said: Old Red Garage. I remember these buildings from way back when I was a little kid (I'm 74 now). Most of them were, in fact, red and they were stalls where mechanics to fix cars. Then, in about 1958, most of them were abandoned and the "modern" garages took over. So, my husband and a few other men in town used one of these buildings to build a stock car to race at a nearby track! The garage was still in incredibly good shape considering its age ... but it certainly served the purpose very well and kept the husbands good and busy after work hours! It was also a place where all the wives and the little kids would hang out during the evenings with yummy desserts and "sodas" when our men were tinkering with all the tools. So, you see, this one really interested my sentmentality! And I thank you for refreshing old memories. I'll be heading up to NY/MA state line area in about 2-3 weeks ... for the entire summer! and ... ah, then my camera will get a good workout!! -Mame-
