Tax retirement accounts

The Dems. are after your retirement monies...It's time to get them out of office since they will not listen to the people.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Subject: Windfall Tax
I'm not sure anyone else feels but I'm struggling right now to make my
retirement grow. I want my hard earned retirement!!

Windfall Tax on Retirement Income

Adding a tax to your retirement is simply another way of saying to the
American people, you're so darn stupid that we're going to keep doing this
until we drain every cent from you. That's what the Speaker of the House
is saying. Read below...............

Nancy Pelosi wants a Windfall Tax on Retirement Income..  In other words
tax what you have made by investing toward your retirement. This woman is
a nut case! You aren't going to believe this.

Madam speaker Nancy Pelosi wants to put a Windfall Tax on all stock market
profits (including Retirement fund, 401K and Mutual Funds! Alas, it is
true - all to help the 12 Million Illegal Immigrants and other unemployed
Minorities!

This woman is frightening.
She quotes...' We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income,

Flag removed again

On Tue, <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />7/22/08,

A painted American flag was removed from the tail of Sen. Barack Obama's official campaign airplane and was replaced with the presidential candidate's trademark "O" symbol.

The refurbished 757 was unveiled to members of the press today, 41 of whom boarded the craft and took off to meet Obama in
Amman, Jordan, where the presidential candidate will stop as part of a Middle Eastern and European tour.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE MESSIAH ????

Duties of our elected officials

In a message dated 6/15/08 3:04:59 P.M. US Mountain Standard Time, :
Well said - save this one and send to all members of Congress

Politics

545 PEOPLE

By Charlie Reese –

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits,  WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget.   The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations.   The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices –
545 human beings out of the 300 million – are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress.   In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason.   They have no legal authority.   They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing.   I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash.   The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault.   They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall.   No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.   The president can only propose a budget.   He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes.    Who is the speaker of the House?   She is the leader of the majority party.
She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want.   If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility.   I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people.   When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ, it's because they want them in IRAQ.

If they do not receive
social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power.   Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

These 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses –

provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

Charlie Reeseis a former columnist of theOrlando Sentinel Newspaper.

Thanking you

God gave this country all the resources we need and we would be fine, if we weren't too stupid to harvest them.

The OPEC minister will look you in the eyes and say the following:

"We are at war with you infidels.  Have been since the embargo in the 1970s.  You are so arrogant you haven't even recognized it.  You have more missiles, bombs, and technology, so we are fighting with the best weapon we have and extracting on a net basis about $700 billion/year out of your economy. We will destroy you!  Death to the infidels!

While I am here I would like to thank you for the following:

Not developing your 250-300 year supply of oil shale and tar-sands.  We know if you did this, it would create millions of jobs for US citizens, expand your engineering abilities, and keep the wealth in the US instead of sending it to us to finance our war against you bastards.

Thanks for limiting defense department purchases of oil sands from your neighbors to the north.  We love it when you confuse your allies.

Thanks for over-regulating every segment of your economy and thus delaying by decades the development of alternative fuel technologies.

Thanks for limiting drilling off your coasts, in Alaska, and anywhere there is a bug, bird, fish, or plant that might be inconvenienced.  Better that your people suffer!  Glad to see our lobbying efforts have been so effective.

Corn based Ethanol.  Praise Allah for this sham program!  Perhaps you will destroy yourself from the inside with these types of policies.  This is a gift from Allah, praise his name!  We never would have thought of this one!  This is better than when you pay your farmers NOT TO GROW FOOD.  Have them use more energy to create less energy, and simultaneously drive food prices through the roof.

Thank you, US Congress!!!!

Reject clobal poverty act at all costs

FROM:  Richard G Becker,973 Penny Ln, Sycamore, IL 60178

RE:  REJECT the So-Called Global Poverty Act!  Defeat It At All Costs!

S.2433, the Global Poverty Act, may come up for a vote at any time and I urge you to do everything in your power to stop its passage.

Obviously, eliminating poverty around the world is a noble goal. And since no one wants to be on the record as not wanting to combat poverty, you will -- without a doubt -- feel pressure from some of your less courageous peers and the media to let this horrendous bill pass!

However, it is not humane to burden the American taxpayer with billions in additional foreign aid, which would likely be controlled by the United Nations. And moreover, if history is to be our guide, these monies often wind up lining the pockets of third-world tyrants and bureaucrats who hate America and do very little to help those who are truly in need -- remember the Oil for Food scandal!

The American people will be watching and will not tolerate massive United Nations style giveaways that are passed in the dark of night -- or in broad daylight for that matter. Expose S. 2433 for what it is; a stealth bill and a dagger aimed at the heart of America’s sovereignty. I urge you to stand firm for what is right and not to buckle under the pressure.

Sincerely,

Richard G Becker

Common Sence

 Obituary of Common Sense

My parents told me about Mr. Common Sense early in my life and told me I
would do well to call on him when making decisions. It seems he was always
around in my early years but less and less as time passed by. Today I read his
obituary. Please join me for a moment of silence in remembrance. For Common
Sense has served us all so well for so many generations.

                          Obituary
                           Common Sense

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who
has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his
birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early
bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend
more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children are
in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place Reports of a six-year-old boy charged
with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for
us ing mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly
student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the
job they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It
declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to
administer Aspirin, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a student; but could not
inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became
contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment
than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't legally
defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar can sue you for
assault.

;     Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to
realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap,
and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

          Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust;
his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is
survived by three stepbrothers; I Know my Rights, Someone Else is to Blame, and
I'm a Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If
you still remember him pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

This is an insult and a kick in the butt to all of us...

Get mad and pass it on - I don't know how, but maybe some good
Will come of this travesty.

If the immigrant is over 65 they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get
More than a woman on Social Security, who worked from 1944
till  2004, only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and
There  is a 'catch 22.

It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee
With a monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can also obtain an
Additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of $2, 470.00/month.

This compares very well to a single pensioner who after contributing to
The growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years can only
Receive a monthly maximum of $1, 012.00 in old age pension and
Guaranteed Income Supplement.

Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!

Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we can all be
Ticked off and maybe get the refugees cut back to $1, 012.00 and the
Pensioners up to $2, 470.00 and enjoy some of the money we were
Forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years.

Please forward to every American to expose what our elected politicians
(Nancy P. Included) have been doing over the past 11 years - to the
 Over-taxed American.

SEND THIS TO EVERY AMERICAN TAXPAYER YOU KNOW
