Feeling Silly
Hearing "Do you hear what I hear" Silence
The Cat's Revenge

Hahahahahaha!!! Sorry , give me a minute and I can breathe and tell ya what's so funny......Whoo! As I mentioned in the last post , I have animals. That would be 4 inside cats, 2 outside cats, and a Huge Fancy Albino Goldfish. Now every since Pickles arrived , the cats have not exactly been happy about the situation. (Pickles was trained around cats so she could be in my home with them.) Whenever Pickles would walk by they would hiss and try to nab her tail. Pickles is so mild mannered she would just avoid them. A few days ago I discovered Pickles likes paper products, tissues, napkins to be precise. I found out quite by accident LOL, while I thought she was sleeping and had my back to her, she was slowly pulling tissues out of the tissue box one by one.
Back to the story....When I came down the stairs this morning with Pickles the first thing I saw was a foot of shredded paper towels all over my kitchen. The cats looked at Pickles, she was staring at them, and then with the most pathetic, I didnt do it look, looked at me. I couldn't help it.......I burst out laughing and must of laughed for a solid 5 minutes. Most people will tell you animals don't think like that......But consider this my Cats have never, ever shredded paper towels like that before. But apparently they weren't smart enough to realize Pickles was tied up upstairs so she couldn't have done it. They can be rotten little rascals when they want to be, every once in awhile they will hide one of Pickles fav. rope toys.
Each and every one of the Cats was a stray that Doc and I took in. K, try not to die laughing here (I didn't name them) Doc had Poops-Alot, and Pees-Alot before I moved in. They are brothers and almost identical in every way except temperment. Pees is shrewd. Where poopsa tends to be the bumbling now what Cat. Then there is Foxy who Doc found in the woods next to our house one summer. Someone had literally covered her with flea powder and she was missing all the fur in her back end , and covered with sores. Kinda sad considering she is a Long Haired cat. She used to live in the house but couldn't tolerate the boys. Foxy loves the outdoors and is quite the hunter, I'm always finding little pleasantries in my garden LOL. Socrates we found in the city where I used to live she was a very small cat, andwould come up to my apt. for affection , she did not like men at all. Socrates also has 7 toes on each foot. When I moved in with Doc she came along. And lo and behold unknown to us, she was pregnant and so tiny. She had the kittens, and one of them is the 4th inside Cat Feather. When Feather was born she wouldn't suckle on her mom, so I picked her up to discover she still had some of the caul over her mouth and nose, so I cleaned her up. She turned out to be the littlest and the smartest of the bunch, so she was definately a keeper. And last but not least is Mystery so named bccause it was just that....a mystery as to where he came from. He was a huge male cat with this oversized head and skinny body. It took me almost 2 weeks to convince him to come close enough to eat. He hasn't left since. I sometimes think he is part Pig. I've never known a cat who liked to be dirty, he rolls in everything, the smelly pile of dead leaves and grass we have near the woods for fertilizer, the stone driveway. You name it, if it's ugh!! he's in it. So that's the story with the Cats in this household. All are inside except Mystery and Foxy. Everyonce in a while we will get, another stray cat that comes around, we'll feed them and take them to a local shelter. I can' t stand the thought of any animal suffering. It's amazing even after they do suffer, they still have the capicity to love you. K, pups getting antsy guess her naps over. We are going for a walk as today is yet another balmy (winter) day here in NY. From my spirit to yours Stay safe and Loved!!Indigo

My oldest daughter cannot say "no" to a stray kitty. She now has three. We have one of her kitties' sister and our big old mixed lab, Grizzly. Poor Pickles...lol...getting set up. Animals are so much smarter than some people give them the credit for being. I'm laughing at the "pimping". That's a JLand term when someone introduces a journal in their own. Now, I told you that you would be getting new friends. We all started out struggling to figure out how to get readers. You're on your way, Ms. Indigo...Love ya, Chris

Darn it....I copied the wrong link. I hate when I do that. Don't mind my photobucket link. I was making an entry in my journal with tags. Here's my real link to my journal.
