RebukeTheWorld's News Briefing Begins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This blog will now start its News Briefings, of course my famous sarcasm shall remain.  We all need to laugh a little yet still reflect honestly and radically!

Well, the last week of news has been interesting. Guess what? Last week some gal was at Walmart's in Portland, Oregon and while unloading her sacks, she got her toes licked.  Some unfortunate guy was underneath her car and was beside himself.  I laughed but couldn't help but be a bit envious. That's what the single life will do for yah.

Jennifer Aniston's movie, The Breakup comes out this Friday. It will not only be a hit but be the biggest hit she has had as of yet. Vince Vaughn is the ideal alpha male that us gals drool over. I can't wait to see him roll out those realistic views of men. This movie will be "Harry Met Sally,"of today, where females and males can relate and both attend. It light of Angelina and Brads new baby and I do wish them well to but a little sister secret for Jen- I can't help but have a little place for you that roots on. The movie The Breakup will put her on the block buster map. Good for you girl!

I have to admit the news gets me going sometimes. They often show the cheapest places to get gas and I actually write them down. It dawned on me the other day how crazy I was becoming. My favorite gas station is usually around $2.99/gallon. I will drive miles to get the cheapest gas. I thought was being a conscientious and smart gas shopper. I would adamantly avoid any gas stations at  $3.15/gallon or more. Then the Einstein light on and I thought...hmm... since I usually spend 10 bucks every other day, I am only saving myself .48 cents. Duh, what the heck do I care for. The fact that I would drive a few miles out of my way to save .48 cents was my brilliant moment. Stupid!

Bush gives Iraq an almost pull out date and we're starting talks with Iran. I will only have this to say-Canada is always an option.

Some rappers are upset that Oprah won't put them on their show. Sorry, but I laughed. Oprah is all about education, inspiration and a positive outlook in life and ourselves. Why on earth would she have a show exploiting music where women are called bitc---s and hoes. The rappers are forgetting her audience is women who want to feel uplifted. Orpha's motive is to educate women and not support music that betrays women value. Another thing is most rap music is also about the glorification of gangs, pimps, vengeance and killing someone. I know they argue is telling the truth of life in the inner-city but it makes it cool, so it aint. Oprah allowing a show about rappers who write abusive lyrics would be a bit hypocritical of her, so she aint doin it. Hello! Its like being an advocate for honoring women but your really some macho guy who beats up his wife regularly. It's like being a psychiatrist and when your home with your family, you talk to no-one ever. Its like being invited to have dinner with the Pope and your convinced he's the antichrist, lol.  Oprah admits she likes rap but she is also selective.  My message to the rappers who've gone uninvited, "Go change your lyrics, say something positive for society and your music will have a story worth telling."

The movie Da Vinci Code is not a documentary. Da Vinci Code is a fiction. Hope that helps.

I know the movie the Omen is coming out on 6/6/06.  Clever little marketing idea but that was purely by accident, of course, lol.  If its was 6/6/66, even I wouldn't go outside for the night. Some folks have these odd connection to dates. Astrologer's are really into the gravity of the universe. If anyone would have told anyone back in the day, that gravity quotes would be seen in highly respectable resources, no-one would have believed it. Black cats, ladders and full moons still make some quiver. It's these type of superstitious folks that have me wanting to hide in my room and hope for sanity. Oh by the way, next year on 7/7/07 everyone wins the lottery.  Thought I would let you know. The stars told me so.

American Idol is over. I watched it every week. I am glad my gray-haired muse won. He is full of soul, the guy can sing and is unique. Taylor, some advice sweetheart--- Get the right record label and you will go far but pick the wrong one, and you will be playing in Las Vegas at some place no-one has heard of. Katherine will be huge like Jessica Simpson. She will pass up Kelly Clarkson too. She is probably a natural when it comes to acting, so I can see her winning an Oscar one day. The only thing that bugs me with Katherine is when her sweet smile pops up and shes singing something sad. That drives me batty, cause I smile back and then question myself later. Oh, I still miss Ace but that long, lingering look he gives after he sings his last note, had me running to the bathroom to puke.  Chris does this too but his rugged rock style has me overlooking it. Chris and Elliot will find their niche and have ongoing success. Kellie will be huge too. She is sweet and probably doesn't know what Tuna is either. Her and Jessica will probably become good friends.

I heard a quote from Katie Couric and I could sooooooo relate too. She said, "You just feel she says what's really on her mind. You don't feel it's sanitized in any way." She was talking about Bette Milder. I have met maybe five people in my life that I can say that about it.
Sanitized? Never heard the word used with that type of reference but wow did I Love THAT! I feel UN-sanitized everyday when havingconversations with the all-knowing unbalanced folks out there. Deep down inside, Katie and I have now bonded.

I had a conversation with a friend the other day. Yah know, my third most favorite thing in the world is a professional facial and massage. We talked about how men and women are different on this. Women get a massage and we want to sleep. Men get a massage or give one a massage and get other ideas. It becomes frustrating because when we want to relax and our men offer us a massage, we know its not about us sleeping. For men, its pure manipulation pointing at touch downs and that rarely stay on the back.  She asked me what should she do the next time she is really tired and wants only a massage from her hubby? I said, " Ask him for a foot massage instead. This will relax you and its guaranteed safe sex. Men don't think in terms of touch downs when it comes to toes. The feet do nothing for them. I also added, "Now, if he is ecstatic and doesn't show any signs of feeling denied then my best advice is this. RUN! Cause he has issues somewhere. Feet adoration is huge on the, "Avoid Him At All Cost," list.

I look forward to Jay Lenos photo-booth comic moments at night. Nothing is funnier. I look forward to this Thursday and watching the marathon run of my favorite show, "The Office." It helps me cope.
