RebukeTheWorld's News Briefing 6/08/06:Climate Crisis, Paris, al-Zarqawi is dead, 6/6/06, Immigrants

Climate Crisis

Al Gore launches a radical campaign to educate Americans about Global Warming. The movie Climate Crisis is well worth seeing and find out when the movie comes to your town. You will want to check this out immediately. It's already playing and you won't get another chance.

Preview of the Movie-

Paris Hilton new CD

Paris Hilton launches her video Stars Are Blind. It's a catchy tune and I have no doubt its it will hit the top 10. I heard her and Nicki were doing a song together called, Let bygones be bygones and Starved women looking for attention. Of course, they're both lip-singing but it's the thought that counts. (kidding)

6/6/06

Everyone lived through 6/6/06, so that is good news. At least it wasn't like Y2K. No-one stocked up.

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, al-Qaida's leader and seven aids were killed by US air strikes, 30 miles northeast of Baghdad. That's good and finally finished!

Osama T-shirt

Now in order to get Osama, the best solution is have a everyone in the Middle East wear a T-shirt with a picture of Osama and the words, "Have you seen this guy? Anyone who doesn't want to wear it then becomes a suspect. It's a great way to narrow the odds for investigation purposes.  Seriously, when we do find him and we will, I am betting it will slow down the resistance movement in Iraq and everyone around the world will celebrate like no tomorrow.

Michael Chertoff

Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff is in charge of the new task force to help immigrants assimilate in the United States. I hope Bush doesn't get scrutiny on that. Often when people decide to live in foreign country they think its a good idea to read up about it, then learn the language and the culture. I think its great he is encouraging this. Just in case Bush gets misinterpreted as some control freak whose culturally deprived, I recommend a book called, How to Adapt in a Foreign Country. It's written by the infamous author Mr. Common Sense.  If you think, "Why should we learn anything about America?" Go buy that darn book. It's for free and available somewhere on the planet.

A little trivia for you-

What book inspired the lyrics to the song, BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC?

Answer- Revelations 14 in the Christian bible.
