COMIC RELIEF: Humor and Question of the day
I was reading AOL daily boards yesterday and they posed a question to the members--How important is the killing of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in the war on terror and the war in Iraq?
Funny weird humourA member responded with, "Michael Moore, Cindy Sheehan and Sean Penn are to act as Pall Bearers." Then another member added to this comment with, "And Hillary Clinton will read the eulogy." I was in stitches.
Oh by the way, for those of you who listen to AOL radio, check out the station Ambient. Great reflection music to relax your day. I even listen to the Sinatra Style station when I need to forget I'm in this century. Rock keeps me grounded but sometimes another century works.
The truth behind those children's tardy notes and absentees: 1) I was still drunk this morning and needed to sleep it off a little. 2) We believe six hours a day is too long of a day for children. 3) I needed my child to baby-sit. Every parent has written at least one of those. Let me know if you can think of any.
A new research study by Raven Smith revealed that communication isn't really the reason why relationships don't work. The fact is most couples do affectively communicate to each other that they just don't want to change. Who knew?
I love it when celebrities say, "It's important to me to be home for dinner to eat with my family." We then toot their horns for such a admirable sacrifice. If any teacher, clerk, construction worker or any other joe-blow said, we would wonder what meds they were on.
I don't know about you but something about that Denise Richards seems a bit estranged. Like one of those gals who jumps to conclusions, speculates everything(paranoia) and then believes its accurate and you end up feeling like you would rather live in an insanity ward. How do I know this? I don't.
I read recently that Katie Holmes' was marrying Tom because she didn't think she could get custody of their daughter. I laughed, like when are the courts ever for the father first, especially one who likes to jump on couches. The media likes to rattle our pocket books by alluring to these false assumptions.
Question of the day? How do you define if your a caring person or if you have a dark desire to drive others insane?
Write down your most important needs and lets discover who is really the tape recorder in your relationship. If your making the same requests over and over periodically in that relationship, then your purpose in life is to become insane. If your the one who others are always having to set boundaries with and no-one ever can, cause you do what you want AND they have to repeat their needs over and over to you; well then your purpose in life is to drive others insane. (that was the longest sentence known to man) Anyways, I know this. It's totally affecting me like that. Tape recorders are the main attraction for my loner escape side. Now if your a martyr for love that makes you the battery for the tape recorder wacko. Now if your a die-hard love fan and in some crappie relationship cause you think your loving ways will change them--well in this case, your the electricity for the tape recorder with some serious issues. Your just playing a god and you aint got the power to change anyone. So, see yah at the insane ward. I hear that there are some pretty intelligent folks in there, who spent years offering advice to those tape recorders out there. Trust me, they don't usually visit their victims either. ( laughing)

I like Hillary's stance on education.
Well I am a daycare owner of 20 years. I like to get my clients help when I see they need it. I'm talking babies up to 7 yr. olds
I work with many agencies. D.S.S./ parent classes for behavior, red cross parent training, luck- for anger issues, police for domestic issues. Drug counseling help if they need it.
-early intervention, food programs for our poor clients. screening to be sure development is ok.
like Hillary Clinton's book which I love, it take a village. it the old day we all had so many relatives all watching out for our kids, now families are far away in most cases or too busy to help.
if we all do our part as teachers to see and know that times have changed and we all have to do our part to be of the village that raises its children. The children that fall through the cracks, the children we don't help. we pay for in prison cost down the line.
Just my take,
Cheryl
