LIFE SECTION: Raven poses the question of the day
There are people who believe that if there was a God he wouldn't create a place called Hell; even though is was made so Hitler and all the other evil folks can hang out together for eternity and not bother you anymore. On that note, here comes the question's of the day.
If there is some crazed force out there called Karma, which is able to play Santa Claus and add up all your to-do good lists and all of your to-do evil lists, and do back to you what you do AND do it for all people on that planet simultaneously, why not be mad at Karma for doing back evil to you because you did evil? I realize that Karma is about what you do but why not be mad at Karma for all the bad things that happen on the planet? Is it true that, Karma is giving back evil because Karma says it's fair by our own actions? What if your a good person and nothing you have done is worthy of the hard hits from life you have received? Who do you blame then? Shouldn't Karma be fair?
Questions are posed for polite discussion purposes only!

(PART 8:)
(An excerpt from the "Left Behind II - Tribulation Force" tract at livingwaters - the publishing company of "Way of the MASTER"...Ray Comfort runs both of these sections of this same ministry....)
You shall have no other gods before Me
(have we loved God above all else?).
You shall not make yourself a graven image
(make a god to suit ourselves, with our hands or our mind).
You shall not take God?s name in vain.
Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy.
Honor your father and mother.
You shall not murder
(hatred is considered as murder).
You shall not commit adultery
(lust is adultery of the heart; includes sex before marriage).
You shall not steal
(the value is irrelevant).
You shall not lie
(including answering these questions).
You shall not covet.
The Bible says that God will punish all murderers, rapists, thieves, liars, adulterers, etc. He will even judge our words and thoughts. On Judgment Day, will you be found to be guilty or innocent of breaking His Law? Perhaps you think that God is good, and will therefore overlook your sins. But it is His goodness that will make sure murderers, rapists, thieves, liars, etc. receive justice.
He would be a corrupt Judge if He turned a blind eye to injustice. God, however, made a way where His justice and His goodness could meet. We broke the Law, but He became a man to pay the fine. Now, because of what Jesus did for us in satisfying the Law, God can forgive us and grant us the gift of everlasting life! But here's where many people make a fatal mistake. They think they will enter Heaven if they live a good life. But isn't it true that the best of us have lied, stolen, lusted, hated, failed to love God above all else, and failed to love our neighbor as ourselves? How can we then, live a "good" life if we have already sinned against God? At best we are reformed liars and thieves . . . Lawbreakers. -
(PART 7:)
"You are using scare tactics by talking about hell and Judgment Day."
In the late 1980s, TV commercials in the U.S. asked, "What goes through the mind of a driver who is not wearing a seat belt in a head-on collision?" Then they showed a crash dummy having its head crushed by a steering wheel in a collision, and said, "The steering wheel!" Those were scare tactics, but no one complained because they were legitimate scare tactics. That’s what happens in a head-on collision if you are foolish enough to not put on a seat belt. To warn of hell is fearful, but it is absolutely legitimate, because the Bible says that it is a fearful thing for a sinner to fall into the hands of the living God. -
(PART 6:)
The Bible refers to the fate of the unsaved with such fearful words as the following:
"Shame and everlasting contempt" (Daniel 12:2)
"Everlasting punishment" (Mathew 25:46)
"Weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 24:51)
"Fire unquenchable" (Luke 3:17)
"Indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish" (Romans 2:8,9)
"Everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord" (2 Thessalonians 1:9)
"Eternal fire...the blackness of darkness for ever" (Jude 7,13)
Revelation 14:10,11 tells us the final, eternal destiny of the sinner: "He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone...the smoke of their torment ascended up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day or night." -
(PART 5:)
"Hell is just a metaphor for the grave."
There are three words translated "hell" in Scripture:
Gehenna (Greek): The place of punishment (Matthew 5:22,29; 10:28; and James 3:6)
Hades (Greek): The abode of the dead (Matthew 11:23; 16:18, Luke 16:23; Acts 2:27)
Sheol (Hebrew): The grave (Psalm 9:17; 16:10)
There are those who accept that hell is a place of punishment, but believe that the punishment is to be annihilated—to cease conscious existence. They can’t conceive that the punishment of the wicked will be conscious and eternal. If they are correct, then a man like Adolph Hitler, who was responsible for the deaths of millions, is being "punished" merely with eternal sleep. His fate is simply to return to the non-existent state he was in before he was born, where he doesn’t even know that he is being punished.
However, Scripture paints a different story. The rich man who found himself in hell (Luke 16:19–31) was conscious. He was able to feel pain, to thirst, and to experience remorse. He wasn’t asleep in the grave; he was in a place of "torment." If hell is a place of knowing nothing or a reference to the grave into which we go at death, Jesus' statements about hell make no sense. He said that if your hand, foot, or eye causes you to sin, it would be better to remove it than to "go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched" (Mark 9:43–48).

...Now, about the infamous belief by people (such as 'new-agers', etc.,) that "Karma" is responsible for what happens: It never fails to surprise me the results that come from self-exalting pride - such people "pride" themselves on how "spiritual" and "deep" they are by swimming in the belief of this "Karma" that's around everybody, yet they "pride" themselves on how "unspiritual" they are in not "falling for" the belief that it is the Spirit of GOD that falls upon this planet, and it is HIS ever-active since of justice because of HIS holiness that is responsible for the things the Prophets of the Bible have told us would happen. ...But this is what pride is: It is SELF-BLINDING (and while claiming "sight").
...Such things are not supposed to be about my opinion, your opinion, his viewpoint, her viewpoint, our sight, or their sight...Having what really is the true sight happens (for that person) when somebody lays down their own in all humility and denial of self and their sense of self before a very sovereign GOD who looks upon that humility and does not leave them there being then without any sight anymore, but in giving them in return HIS sight. (This is why the true converts to Christianity are so positive about what they believe of what they see and know that they will die for it, because once you have already gone through such a process, there is no denying what 'light' really is, and where that 'light' really came from.)
...Thank you for listening. :-)
