Some guy in Clark County, Oregon was arrested for Wi-Fi theft of services. I know. You too? I must say, I had never ever heard of that before. Wi-Fi theft services?  Well, this guy sat outside in the parking lot at Brewed Awakenings, and never set foot in their establishment to buy coffee. He logged in and for months sat in his car and used their Wi-Fi signal for free. Now the poor guy is in jail and doing the same thing, sitting for hours and using the prisons Wi-Fi signal. You just can't win. When I heard about this I definitely thought, wow he is in jail and on my dime. I guess I should do the honorable thing and admit I'm guilty too. I must use someone's Wi-Fi signal everyday and I don't buy coffee from any of them.(laughing) One way around this is to send a signal back to all those manic, controlling people out there- Hey, didn't your mama ever teach you how to share?  I got another great idea. The next time I use someone's Wi-Fi signal (like tomorrow), maybe some company can create a way that we can send an automatic Hallmark card to those voluntary free signals out there.  A possible card could be- Hey, I know you pay for this gig and I know you have to pay for this gig cause you use this gig but I just wanted to say thank you. Someone else on the planet is grateful. And don't worry, I pay my taxes. 

 

 

 

Have any of you ever watch the Disney's morning show Charlie and Lola? I know that most of you probably haven't but I will warn you now, its like Barney way back in the days. I remember watching my kids become comatosed when Barney would come on and the good parent that I am; I would question if I was doing the right thing. The problem is I'm in a comatose now. Charlie and Lola is such a sweet show. I feel like I have reached into this altered space where life is really wonderful. Don't worry, I know life really isn't wonderful(laughing) but you will feel like that when you watch this program. The two main characters are these two British speaking siblings who will crack you up. Lola is always up to no-good and Charlie does his best to be a good brother. When I turn on this show, I wish there was a camcorder somewhere. We all sit around, adults, teenagers and children and just stare. We're so busy being captivated, we forget about the quiet noise around us.  Tune in and be without guilt.
