I'm a lover of art and history. Mount Soledad should stay!

I've friends who believe rocks have power. I've friends who are atheists. I've friends that believe God is female and mother earth is the real deal. I have always had a variety in my friendships because I'm evolved enough as a Christian, to realize I can agree to disagree and respect each person's entitlement to believe whatever the heck they want to. I have my beliefs and of course I'm 100% certain I'm right, lol but they believe that too. So, what's my point? I am also an avid lover or art and history. I can't wait to travel to Europe and see history. I believe in respecting history. I wrote and article awhile back on the historic monument of Mount Soledad. I know people struggle with a cross planted anywhere, even if its 100 years old but go get some therapy, lol. I realize if Mount Soledad had a statue of a Buddhist munk, it wouldn't be taken down. Is my logic right? I realize if Mount Soledad had a statue of Krishna from the Hindu religion, it wouldn't be taken down. Is my logic correct? Just checking in, but yes it wouldn't be an issue. I realize it Mount Soledad had any other piece of art besides a cross it would remain and there would be no court battle.
Can you imagine how many monuments would go down in Europe if crosses weren't considered a legitimate piece of art? Boy, that should would change tourism abroad. Think of all those beautiful churches being torn down. I know and understand the sensitivities at the Christian religion but I also know a bunch of crap when I see it.
I realize Christians have done good things and so-called Christians have done horrible things. As you know, you can call yourself anything but what the heck you do, tells who you really are. To continue, I realize Christians have fed the poor for centuries and have helped out humanity. I also realize the bible carrying so-called Christians of America did cruel acts against humanity for 100's of years and enslaved and killed millions African American people. So, I see the sensitivity on this from both sides, but I can step out of all of that and call this removal of this historic cross BULL-____. If your a lover of art, a protector of historic monuments and can set aside biases and see things from a sound perspective, click the link below. You don't need to agree with the ACLJ but you might feel this pursuit is a little absurd and unfair for many reasons.
They lost in court and want to take this to the Supreme Court. I find this whole situation so ridiculous. Who would ever thought someone would want to destroy this monument? It's like watching Jerry Springer and everyone is clapping because of the great message for humanity his show offers, and I am sitting in the audience wondering what drugs they're on,lol. Who would want to change this piece of art? Geese, there are some stupid people on this planet. I am flying off this planet one day. Maybe a martian will come rescue me, lol.
In the end, we can remove any piece of art that looks like a cross and keep the other pieces of art that resembles other religions and in the end, what the heck does that solve? Logically, this is a stupid desire to remove the cross and besides, look at the photo. I would love see that in person. Mount Soledad is over 100 years old and quite beautiful.
Old monuments of art should remain, no matter what your religious beliefs are because history is also told through art. And I like to listen.
