Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

Looks like the big one for Pakistan. Musharraf is arresting all oppositions leaders and large segments of the Paki Army is surrendering to religious factions. I think it's time to get US forces and embassy officials out of there.

With any take-over of government by religious groups comes the almost certain destruction of Pakistan by US conventional or even nuclear strikes to prevent the launching of Pakistan's missiles.

It is our considered opinion that this uprising in Pakistan is intended to further spread American forces more thinly and take some of the heat off Iran. Islamic terrorists in Pakistan would be very happy if America nuked Pakistan because their doctrine would be fulfilled. All would be martyrs.

We think Bush has to be extra careful on this one and take off his 2 gallon hat, 5 shooters, and cowboy sandals and start talking.

There is always a chance that we've been wrong about Bush and that when the chips are really down, he wouldn't take the final leap into nuclear war.

We are not convinced he won't because it almost seems like that was his goal from the beginning.

This whole thing is working out to be Armageddon, or something very much like it, as described in Revelation. The only thing that hasn't taken place yet is the Rapture. Maybe if the Rapture doesn't take place both the Islamic and Christian extremists on both sides will call the whole thing off. Otherwise get ready for "Tribulation."
