JESUS LOVES YOU!

                                          Unfruitful Works of Darkness

Las Vegas missed its opportunity to have me leave town as it wants all homeless people to do. God said it is not time to go. There is work to do here. Do not forsake Me or My children.

"Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

Therefore do not be partakers with them.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children in light.

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in goodness, righteousness, and truth),

Finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.

But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light...."

                                                       Ephesians 5:6-13

Well, so I guess my work has only begun to expose the darkness in Sin City. God willing, you will see what happens here with your tax and donated dollars.

  It seems you have found your mission, River ... I am afraid to read what you are going to write. I am afraid for you, living on the streets, and I am afraid of the responses you will get.
  
  But... He says "Be not afraid, I am with you always."
  
  "If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered." Proverbs 21:13.
  
  My study Bible reminds me, as a note on Ephesians passage you quote here, that 'God needs people who will take a stand for what is right... Christians must speak out for what is true and right.' When we don't speak out against unfruitful deeds of darkness, we are giving our approval. Think of all the approval people are showering on LasVegas when they go there for a vacation, or even a weekend. Fruitless. River, be with God, and may you be protected, be well, and be fruitful in your mission there.   bea
