If you didn't click on the yellow brick road below then you don't know I moved.  Moved back to my old journal that is.  I changed the name to "The Yellow Brick Road" but it is the same journal I always wrote from. 

I won't be writing here again until the Air Force moves us or we take the trailer out for a vacation.  Both may be a while from now.  So please  ease on down the road...the yellow brick road that is and say hi.

A little rain is falling here.  I love it when it rains...just wish Michael was home today so we could be lazy lovers and stay in bed all day.  LOL

I have become a slave to my wood floors.  NOTHING is working.  The shine that was on them when we moved in is now a milky haze and it drives me NUTS!  You can't see it unless the sun hits it just right but I know it is there.  I have tried a handful of solutions and nothing, nothing works to my satisfaction.

It pisses me off that the landlord has no idea what his cleaning lady used on these floors.  You would think he would want me to take care of them to the best of my ability.  It can't be cheap to fix wood floors once they are damaged.  I even went to Home Depot yesterday to see what I could buy...came home with a product called "Bruce" that they recommended and I think it sucks.  Sigh...

I am loving my haircut.  It is so easy to manage.  I can drive with all the windows down and not worry one bit.  I just shake it out and run my fingers thru it when I get out and it looks great.  I thought Michael would hate it but he said I looked hot when he saw it.  LOL!  Gotta love that.

Thinking of going back on weight watchers.  Just thinking about it though.  I haven't quite gotten to the point where I am ready to just do it.  Ya know?  So many places to eat and so few are diet friendly.  LOL

Gabby entered my Mom's recipe for Texas Sheet Cake in our local fair.  It was a junior bake off and guess what?  She won first place!!!!  She was so excited.  She gets a ribbon and some cash too!  My Mom was thrilled to hear she entered, then used one of her recipes and then won!  We call her out little Betty Crocker now.

  After Gabby left for school this morning, Michael, my friend Ana and I all set out to buy concert tickets!  It's a surprise.  Ana has two girls one of which is Gabby's best bud and they love the Jonas Brothers!  Teenie bopper music.

Michael and Ana's husband are going to take all three girls to the concert!  Can you imagine?  Two grown Dad's at a teeny bopper concert with a bunch of screaming girls! It's gonna be so much fun and it will be Gabby's first concert.

After we got the tickets we were out anyway and Michael said "Call your friend Nancy and see if she wants to go to lunch with all of us."   So Michael kidnapped Nancy from laundry and Ana from cleaning the bathrooms and me from cleaning everything today and took us all out for burgers and fries.  Is he awesome or what?

I think about the time we started talking about boobs and losing our virginity he might have wished he was out fishing with the guys but he just smiled and let us giggle and have fun.  I LOVE him to pieces!

It is a gorgeous Florida day.  Windows open, breeze coming in and I am about ready to do some cleaning now.  I wanted to mention to anyone who might read Linda over in Washington's  journal (lsfp1960) I talked to her the other day and she is on the cruise ship.  She is having HORRIBLE problems with one of her knees and it is really putting a damper on things.  Send some prayers her way.

  I really should have touched up my make-up but I have a splitting headache.  Here is the new haircut.  I really do love it.  I just came in from the rain and wind and it still looks as good as when I left the salon...well almost as good.  The back is stacked and really full...I will work on getting a pic of the back.  But, this is it...suspense is over.  ;)

Linda over at "Footprints in the Sand" mentioned that this is Dr. Seuss's week.  His birthday was yesterday March 2nd.  I had so much fun last year when I was working as a teacher's aide and it was Dr. Seuss week.  I found out there is a little Cat in the Hat in me!  LOL

Okay, so this really isn't me.  Thank goodness.  I went to get my hair cut today and guess what?  I was there on the WRONG day!  Now this could happen to anyone...right?  Well this is the SECOND time in two weeks I have done this.  I did it with Gabby's appt last week and then mine today.  My appt is really tomorrow.  UGH!

I spent all morning getting myself ready for cutting off most of my hair, was almost sick to my stomach over it only to get there and find out I have to go back tomorrow.  Can you say "POCKET CALENDAR?"
