Tales of a (Part-time) Trailer Park Princess!

  After Gabby left for school this morning, Michael, my friend Ana and I all set out to buy concert tickets!  It's a surprise.  Ana has two girls one of which is Gabby's best bud and they love the Jonas Brothers!  Teenie bopper music.

Michael and Ana's husband are going to take all three girls to the concert!  Can you imagine?  Two grown Dad's at a teeny bopper concert with a bunch of screaming girls! It's gonna be so much fun and it will be Gabby's first concert.

After we got the tickets we were out anyway and Michael said "Call your friend Nancy and see if she wants to go to lunch with all of us."   So Michael kidnapped Nancy from laundry and Ana from cleaning the bathrooms and me from cleaning everything today and took us all out for burgers and fries.  Is he awesome or what?

I think about the time we started talking about boobs and losing our virginity he might have wished he was out fishing with the guys but he just smiled and let us giggle and have fun.  I LOVE him to pieces!

It is a gorgeous Florida day.  Windows open, breeze coming in and I am about ready to do some cleaning now.  I wanted to mention to anyone who might read Linda over in Washington's  journal (lsfp1960) I talked to her the other day and she is on the cruise ship.  She is having HORRIBLE problems with one of her knees and it is really putting a damper on things.  Send some prayers her way.

  What a wonderful surprise for Gabby. My daughter is begging me for tickets to Jonas Bros. too. But they are sold out here. And the cheapest I could find them was $124 each.. a little much for a 12 year old..and since I'd have to go too.. I certainly am not paying that much for me to see them. I surely am not THAT into them. Love your hair! It really looks adorable. ~CJ

  Yep Michael rocks. My hubby always hated having to be around "the girls". Course he's never around anymore. And I never go anywhere these days. I KNOW Gabby is  going to be stoked. Tell Linda I'm praying for her. How sucky to be hurting on vacay.
