Just chillin'

Is warm enough to lay out again and read...but so much that I started to burn.  So...I got out our beach umbrella and rigged it up on the deck.  Ta da!  Loving this weather!

Ruff life aint it? I can't even get in the pool yet because we had to drain it again & are going to have to repaint it because my brilliant husband and sons didn't read the damn directions!!!If he doesn't get on the ball pretty soon I am going to hire it done and HE'S gonna pay for it. Of course even if there were water in the pool I could't get in the pool because of my toe wounds Grumble grumble. I'll be dam glad when I'm done wth my antibiotic shots once a day. today was the 9 one. Thank God my daughter in law is a nurse and give it to me every day. Those suckers go deep into the muscle/  Hope you are having a good weekend.

I am FRIED, Robin. Yep, even with 70 spf sunblock and a hat. We spent four hours on the beach on Thursday and I must have missed a couple of spots. I have streaks of deep, dark red where I missed. :( First time out this year, so I should have been more vigilant. I spent all day yesterday hiding from the sun under the umbrella on the beach just so I could hang out with my friends. LOL They were crispy too, but didn't care - they're returning to New Hampshire today. We're leaving in a little while to take them to the airport, and then we're heading straight down to St. Petersburg for the Mainsail Art Festival (it's today and tomorrow).

    Have a great weekend, Robin,
    :) Carol
