Snap! Crackle! Fizz! Boom!

It's July 1st and I have been hearing fire crackers for days now!  You know people setting them off in their backyard.  The local stands were set up last month and I imagine it will only get worse right up to the 4th and then hopefully fizzle out. 

This got me to thinking , do you say fire crackers or fire works?  Let's take a poll.

    Actually we call them FireWorks. The drunk guy down the street can't even pronounce Fire Works LOL

    Firecrackers, to me, are the ones that just sit there and go bang.  When I say fireworks, I'm talking about the lovely after-dark display types.

    I say fire crackers when using them but in general it is all fire works

    We're fireworks watchers!  And firetruck watchers too.  :)
