Fantasy is Reality in the Palms' New Super Suites
How do you officially unveil hotel mega-suites with one of kind amenities never before seen in Vegas? How do you show off vibrating beds and private "show" showers for those who think "big?" Well, if you're Palms hotel mogul George Maloof, you get the Internet's all-time most downloaded pinup princess
Cindy Margolis (above) to be the tour guide, live and on video. She'll appear both in-room and on copies sent around the world to travel tour and convention groups.
His new Fantasy Tower houses the most unique luxury suites ever built anywhere in the world, from a half-basketball court suite to one with two personal bowling alleys. As some of you know, I've spent a great part of the last 20 years travelling the world to experience the most lavish and opulent residences and destinations, and I can truly say that I've never seen anything like this. It is truly incredible, and way beyond "wow."

In between going up and down on an inflatable vibrating bed for the cameras, Cindy told me: "Without a doubt, this can't be beaten. You simply can't do it justice by showing future visitors photos and brochures. We had to do a video of the experience."
Last week, George and Cindy (left) hosted a party for our partners at Vegas.com to proudly showcase for the first time all the developments to the travel industry. Some we have given you a sneak peek at in past LuxeLife Journals, but here for the first time is the full rundown of the 40 mega-suite and Sky Villa highlights:The Hardwood Suite (right) is a 10,000-sq.ft two-level party room featuring a half-basketball court and 10-person Jacuzzi tub. The Kingpin Suite is a 4240-sq.ft retro-styled suite complete with two fully-automated bowling alleys. The 2476-sq.ft g-Suite is inspired by the resort's famous ghostbar club complete with an electronic duplication of the famed club's 55-story-high clear "ghostdeck" (the suite has a video monitor showing the ghostdeck p.o.v.).
The Erotic Suite features a metal show shower, 8 ft. wide round rotating bed under a mirrored ceiling that the Fantasy dancers (left) were nice enough to demonstrate for me! The femme- forward Hot Pink Suite, along with its perfectly pink decor, has silver and fur accents everywhere. The urban- inspired Crib Suite has its own DJ booth, back bar and show shower. In addition, there are the Celebrity, Director's and Salon Suites. And then there's the Sky Villas, seven single-story and two-story super suites escalating up to 8000 sq. ft. of superspace. They have their own exercise, massage and steam rooms, media rooms, personal glass elevators, and cantilevered Jacuzzi tubs.
But the ultimate has to be Hugh Hefner's Sky Villa, with an indoor pool, spa
treatment room, fully equipped gym, sauna, 8 ft. rotating bed, outdoor terrace for topless sunbathing, and its own poker table. It's the premiere penthouse in the entire city -- and that's really saying something. Coming soon will be the
first Playboy Club in 25 years, an ultra lounge with its own Playboy Bunnies (in new Roberto Cavalli-designed costumes), 10 gaming tables and slot machines. In addition, there will be a 500-capacity rooftop dance club open to the stars in good weather, known as MOON, and just below, a new Mediterranean restaurant, Nove.
"There is nothing like this anywhere else in the world," George told me, which is really no exaggeration. "We've created the ultimate luxury playground to offer our guests a new and unique experience every time they stay with us." Booked together, the Fantasy Suites can creatively accommodate up to 6000 guests as a private "Block Party," and already, one major sportswear company has booked them for every night of next year's NBA All-Star week!
Still to come is a new 2400-seat concert venue, which will relocate some of the Brenden movie theatres to the far side of their own building. Rock groups playing there will enjoy connectivity to the 8000-sq.ft state-of-the-art recording studio -- the first-ever in a Vegas hotel...
This afternoon (Wed March 8) NASCAR race driver Jeff Gordon (that's the real one with me at right) has a likeness of himself unveiled alongside the late Dale Earnhardt at Madame Tussauds in The Venetian, in advance of the weekend's big Nextel Cup Race. This evening, soprano sax superstar Kenny G -- the biggest selling instrumental musician of the modern era -- opens this evening for two nights at the
Hilton. And tomorrow night March 9) the Barry Manilow TV special on (we wrote about it when it filmed back in December) will air on PBS as part of their national pledge drive. Since it was taped at the Hilton showroom, 16 local hotel employees have volunteered to take call-in pledges during its airing.
Next Monday (March 13) kicks off the annual 4-day ShoWest motion picture exhibitors convention, during which Hollywood's creme-de-la-creme presents their upcoming blockbusters for the first time to national theatre owners and the public. ShoWest also honors some of their favorite stars, which this year will include Brandon Routh of 'Superman Returns' (to be named Male Star of Tomorrow), 12-year-old Keke Palmer, to be seen in 'Akeelaah and The Bee' (being named Rising Star of the Year),as well as Natalie Portman, M. Night Shyamalan and Laurence Fishburne. My friend Mary Hart (left) will host the Thursday March 16 final ceremony... While you've got your diary out, please flip forward to Friday May 5 and jot down the Skylar Neil Memorial Golf Tournament that my Motley Crue rocker friend, Vegas' own Vince Neil is organizing in Simi Valley, California as his 10th anniversary fundraiser. He lost his daughter Skylar to stomach cancer back in 1995 and since then he's donated over $1 million to research to save children from the disease.
Vegas' inaugural Tennis Channel Open was deemed a success with 40,000
fans braving unusually cold weather. A sell-out center court crowd watched the finals when James Blake beat Lleyton Hewitt for the first time in their 7th meeting. Seven proved Blake's lucky number because he also won that number of poker pots he played in Vegas between alternating day matches!
