The $15.9 million goodbye! That mind boggling "pink-slip paycheck" is now official with Steve Wynn's Securities and Exchange Commission filing in Washington DC. The hotel tycoon acknowledged to stock holders that he has paid out that whopping sum to director Franco Dragone to end their relationship over the ‘Le Reve’ show at his resort. Steve bought all the rights to the spectacular as Dragone split from the troubled water-themed production last weekend -- as reported here in Luxe Life on Monday of this week -- click here for the story that includes celeb reaction to 'LOVE.'
Wynn (pictured with Yours Truly) also confirmed in the mandatory public company government filing all the
details of our Luxe Life revelations complete to detailing the new creative
team and the changes he has ordered that he spoke about in our earlier
exclusive Luxe Life interview.
Steve is refusing all further interview requests about the status of ‘Le Reve’ presently. So now, inquiring minds are trying to calculate or guess how much more than the $126 million he has invested in this project to date will be needed by the new creative trio and what they will require in budgets to execute their visions. When all is tallied up, it may reach up to a whopping $200 million, which may put it equal to or even ahead of 'KA' at the rival MGM Grand -- making it the most expensive show to ever be produced in Vegas.
Only in Vegas, folks.
Stay tuned for the regularly scheduled Luxe Life a little later today. Top stories include Denise Richards' striptease act, Ashlee Simpson returns and CineVegas info.
