As the sun set this evening over the French Riviera playground of St.
Tropez, Pamela Anderson was married to Kid Rock on board a luxury yacht
The ceremony took place about 8PM European time -- 11AM Vegas
time. The couple now plan to party at a beach nightclub in the jetset
resort.
Earlier in the day after she had arrived from Vegas, Pamela wearing a red bikini and very brief ,jean booty-huggers, embraced Kid Rock for fans' cameras after he'd been swimming in the Meditteranean off the $300,000 rented yacht.
Friends there for the ceremony included photographer David LaChapelle who acted as the bride's "matron of honor" and Elton John's partner David Furnish. Pamela was expecxted to wear a white bikini for the wedding with diamond-studded Jimmy Choo spiked high-heeled shoes.
The wedding was confirmed by Pamela's Los Angeles publicist who promised full details about the ceremony on Monday. St. Tropez municipal authorities have confirmed France's 30-day residency requirement for an approved marriage licence adding that no wedding without one could be considered legal.
However, two-days ago in Vegas, Pamela said "the marriage would be fine" -- probably on the basis that a shipboard wedding by a licenced captain is considered valid. "We're going to have weddings in Malibu, Detroit and Nashville when we get back," she added.
