It was another star-studded, shining Vegas weekend for Hollywood's non-stop partying young glitterati. In addition to Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan's late-night, pre-dawn adventures with Palms owner George Maloof (click here for our Luxe Life exclusive photo-report yesterday and here for our follow-up report from earlier today) there was a double-birthday blast at the TAO with numerous celebrities. Also, archrival PURE had 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria hosting a gal pals' birthday and, YES, longtime beaufriend, San Antonio Spurs forward Tony Parker was back in Eva's arms for the party!

First up, though, at TAO: Ashanti's surprise birthday party with rapper Nelly. Also on hand were actress Tamala Jones, comedian Mike Epps, rapper Gipp and the St. Lunatics. Several members of Ashanti's family and her closest friends, sat quietly behind closed curtains of a private dining room awaiting the soulful singer for the surprise birthday bash. She thought shewas being whisked away to the hot Vegas club to help a benefit for "The Gathering Live," supporting victims of domestic violence. But when the singer entered theroom toa rousing "surprise" heard by all of TAO's dinner guests, she was elated to see her family and friends all together to help her celebrate her birthday. Ashanti looked great in a sparkling green dress and a smile from ear-to-ear when she hugged her mother. Turns out people really can keep a secret! The surprise was not over, however. From a secret rear entrance, Ashanti's boyfriend, hip hop superstar, Nelly, snuck up behind Ashanti and whispered a secret happy birthday into her ears. Ashanti was so surprised that she kept pointing at her family and friends saying, "You knew this. You knew this." After feasting on TAO's delicious delicacies from chef Josh Thomsen, there was a birthday cake, almost too beautiful to slice. Up on the dance floor afterwards one more surprise: Ashanti discovered her 'Noah's Ark' television cast members, who absolutely stunned the already elated Ashanti with yet another hip hop chorus of Happy Birthday, and another stunning cake.

The next night, actress Michelle Trachtenberg, looking beautiful in a semi-tiger print, long gown had 21 sparkling candles on her cake to celebrate her milestone marker with VIP guests James Franco of 'Spiderman,' Shawn Ashmore, Regina King, Allison Melnick and world-famous producer Timbaland, who arrived later to also celebrate DJ Vice's own birthday. Michelle, star of TV's "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and the "Eurotrip" and "Ice Princess" movies, had 40 friends over 3 tables for her birthday feast, served up by chef Josh. Chatting with Michelle and two of her gal pals, she told me she was "over the moon to be 21 and celebrating legally in Vegas." I found her a nice, pleasant, well-mannered, smart young lady, which is a refreshing change from some other Tinseltown tots!

At PURE, gorgeous Eva, celebrating her new exclusive worldwide contract as the newest face of L'Oreal, showed no signs ofemotional heartache over her stormy on-off-on-again romance with beaufriend Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs, and she kept everybody guessing as to its current status!!! (Three-weeks ago the couple had been spotted enjoying a 4am honeymoon-styled piggyback romp here at the MGM and it was ON! The next day he was caught with "another woman" in NYC en route to Paris and it was OFF! Then, he pleaded with Eva from Paris for her to join him and she flewthere for the reconciliation and it was ON again!!! ) This weekend, however, observers thought it was OFF, yet again, when she initially turned up solo. It was her first return to PURE since christening the adjoining Pussycat Dolls Lounge as guest mc, when her love of salsa dancing was evident as the infectious music had her moving and dancing and shaking at the club.

Named one of People's "50 Most Beautiful" and the "#1 Hottest Woman in the World" on Maxim's 2005 annual "Hot 100" list, Eva was also voted by Variety as one of the "Ten New Faces to Watch," Rolling Stone's "People of the Year," USA Today's "TV's Hot 11" and TV Guide's "New Faces of Fall." She's just finished shooting 'The Sentinel' with Michael Douglas, Kiefer Sutherland and Kim Basinger, in which she plays a Secret Service agent. Her first weekend stop at Caesars was a light lunch at Wolfgang Puck's Spago (click here for our AOL video tour). No sign of Tony though!!! Just Eva and 4 gal pals doing minestrone soup, salads and marguerite cheese pizzas. For dinner at Social House, where she'd ordered surprise birthday cakes from Chef Joe Elevado for her guests, she was once again with her femme-friends, but no Tony! And then, still no sign of Tony for her red-carpet arrival at PURE. Everybody thought that once again they'd broken up. Finally, though, he showed up with his dad and group of basketball players in tow, and the happy couple were arm-in-arm, kissing and a cuddling in the VIP-bed area which also attracted Phoenix Suns Shawn Marion, Boris Diaw and their team-mates, plus Jenna Jameson with fighter beau Tito Ortiz and his pal Chuck Liddell. Eva ordered Veuve Cliqueot champagne to celebrate his surprise arrival and security immediately pulled the white curtains around their bed-area for about 90-minutes, until they left together, cuddled up as closeascouldbe, at 2:30am.

Elsewhere on the Strip, to start the weekend, Mixed Martial Arts fighter Bas Rutten hung out at Tangerine in TI with his fight team, "The Anacondas," flirting with various Maxim, Playboy and FHM models that had earlier struttedtheir stuff in the Ascension Lingerie showcase. Partying at PURE was poker beauty and 'American Pie' star, Shannon Elizabeth, poker stud David Williams and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Z.Z. Top after they'd all dined separately at TI's Social House. Z.Z. Top spent the rest of his night in the Pussycat Dolls Lounge, drinking nightlife's mandated cocktail of Grey Goose vodka and Red Bull. After watching both shows, Z.Z. Top partied with a few of the Dolls and took pictures with fans The poker players brought the entourage of lingerie models after Tangerine and partied till the club's lights came on as dawn broke!
BASKETBALL BONANZA
The Lakers and the Phoenix Suns battled in a preseason match up last night in Vegas.
It was as if this past weekend the NBA's all-stars had come to town 5-months earlier than the grand super sports February 2007 event. We had the LA Lakers camped out at the Mirage, while the Sacramento Kings took over the Palms and, returning directly from NBA Europe's Live tour in Germany, the Phoenix Suns for last night's pre-season game against Kobe Bryant's Lakers. Kobe, still recovering from July's right knee surgery, didn't suit up for the game, which LA lost 91-99 to Phoenix. Incidentally, the Lakers play the Suns again in the regular season's opener on October 31 and Kobe hopes to be ready to play then under coach Phil Jackson, who also wasn't seen last night, while he recovers from surgery too. Our Sirens of the TI performed the nationalanthem and watching from courtside were Penny Marshall, Rick and Kathy Hilton, Clint Holmes and yours truly.
Next February's Presidents Weekend NBA All Star game, which will feature non-stop coverage by AOL, will be promoted inside the Thomas & Mack Center at halftime of the Los Angeles Lakers-Sacramento Kings exhibition game tomorrow night. A banner bearing the 2007 NBA All-Star Game logo will be unfurled from the arena's rafters and remain there until February 15-19. It will share space with banners honoring UNLV basketball players who have had their numbers retired, former coach Jerry Tarkanian and our UNLV Rebels' 1990 NCAA championship team. Palms hotel honcho George Maloof, whose brothers Joe and Gavin Maloof own the Sacramento Kings, told us that he'll have his new, 2,200-seat Palms showroom open during All-Star Weekend and probably tie in the 5th anniversary celebrations of the Palms simultaneously. The Kings will be hq'd at the Palms during All-Star weekend and major companies such as Nike have already booked out all his Fantasy Suites for parties and promotional events. I've also learned that the All-Star balloting will be announced here from Las Vegas on Monday, November 13.

All day today, from 10am onwards, the Lakers players, owner Jeanie Buss, her longtime beau, 61-year-old Zen coach Phil Jackson,who has recently undergone successful hip surgery, and the Lakers girls will be on the Southern Highlands golf course. Penny Marshall, 'Desperate Housewives' Andrea Bowen, Ricky and Kathy Hilton, Shannon Elizabeth and Brody Jenner will join with other celebrities for the 17th annual benefit for the tea's Youth Foundation. It's the first time it has been held away from LA and in Vegas. The awards will be handed out poolside at the Mirage this evening prior to a ballroom dinner and auction. Jeanie commented: "We have a long love affair with Vegas. Since the first game the Lakers played in 1965 against the then San Francisco Warriors. It's our home away from home. We've watched your community grow and we know it loves NBA basketball. " Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak, who remembers falling from the stage of the Aladdin's Theater for the Performing Arts during a 1981 pre-season game against Philadelphia added: "Vegas is an extension of our LA market and there's been tremendous support for the Lakers here. Former UNLV stars Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks are now playing for the Phoenix Suns and Louis Amundson of the LV rebels will play for the Sacramento Kings.
At 9pm tonight, every TV screen in the Palms will be on for the premiere of the new Carl's hamburger commercial starring all 4 Maloof brothers. Their young hungry Kings team will be thereto root them on as they prepare for their showdown against the Lakers tomorrow.
STUD FARM MIKE?

Hidden in Heidi Fleiss' new interview in Strip Las Vegas magazine about her Stud Farm in Crystal, outside of Pahrump, near Vegas, is a delicious gem. Talking about hiring the men who will entertain the ladies at the reverse-brothel, she revealed that Mike Tyson wants to be herlead off guy! Says Heidi, who is always with Frank Sinatra Jr. when he comes to town: "Mike has said he would love to do it. He said it's every man's fantasy to please every woman and especially to get paid for it. He's every man's worse nightmare that their woman goes and has sex with Mike Tyson and there's nothing they can do about it." The former Hollywood Madamsays she's still dealing with application qualifications with the local authorities but hopes to have Heidi's Stud Farm open in a newly constructed building within the year! For the record Luxe Life points out that prostitution is illegal here in Clark County but in neighboring Nye County where the infamous Chicken Ranch is located it is a licensed permitted business for male or female customers..

The Hooters team now ranked #1 holding the national championship title will compete for the world championship title in Destin, Florida on November 12.
ANIMAL LOVE
Actress Tippi Hedren was honored with the Conservationist of the Year Award at the 14th annual Dinosaur Ball, which raises funds for our Natural History Museum. The event, held at the Hyatt Regency at Lake Las Vegas during the weekend, also brought out past honorees Siegfried & Roy, showing their support. Discovered by Alfred Hitchcock, Hedren made her acting debut in Hitchcock's 'The Birds' (1963). Through acting, she developed a love for wildlife, particularly lions, and she runs an 80-acre reserve, located on the edge of our Mojave Desert, as a haven for endangered and exotic cats. It is the only wild animal sanctuary of its kind in America, providing shelter to more than 70 animals, including many that were abandoned or orphaned by zoos or circuses and cannot survive in the wild. The reserve provides not only shelter for these animals but also expert veterinary care.
STRIP SCRIBBLES
Sir Elton John broke all sales records when the flamboyant entertainer turned TV pitchman to sell his new Captainand the Kid album for the QVC shop-at-home cable network. The live remote broadcast from his Caesars Palace theater was so successful that Elton has now decided to include "The Bridge" from the new CD for the first time in his "Red Piano" shows there. The new release marks the over 25-year collaboration between Elton and his writing partner Bernie Taupin, which has produced more than 20 chart-topping hits. ... My pal Russell Simmons is hailed as the original godfather of hip hop and at his party in OPM nightclub at Caesars Forum Shops he gave away copies of his first book 'The New American Dream.' Some lucky guests also got gift bags containing his personally designed Razr cell-phones and items from his Phat Farm clothing line.

Hidden in Heidi Fleiss' new interview in Strip Las Vegas magazine about her Stud Farm in Crystal, outside of Pahrump, near Vegas, is a delicious gem. Talking about hiring the men who will entertain the ladies at the reverse-brothel, she revealed that Mike Tyson wants to be herlead off guy! Says Heidi, who is always with Frank Sinatra Jr. when he comes to town: "Mike has said he would love to do it. He said it's every man's fantasy to please every woman and especially to get paid for it. He's every man's worse nightmare that their woman goes and has sex with Mike Tyson and there's nothing they can do about it." The former Hollywood Madamsays she's still dealing with application qualifications with the local authorities but hopes to have Heidi's Stud Farm open in a newly constructed building within the year! For the record Luxe Life points out that prostitution is illegal here in Clark County but in neighboring Nye County where the infamous Chicken Ranch is located it is a licensed permitted business for male or female customers..

ANIMAL LOVE
Actress Tippi Hedren was honored with the Conservationist of the Year Award at the 14th annual Dinosaur Ball, which raises funds for our Natural History Museum. The event, held at the Hyatt Regency at Lake Las Vegas during the weekend, also brought out past honorees Siegfried & Roy, showing their support. Discovered by Alfred Hitchcock, Hedren made her acting debut in Hitchcock's 'The Birds' (1963). Through acting, she developed a love for wildlife, particularly lions, and she runs an 80-acre reserve, located on the edge of our Mojave Desert, as a haven for endangered and exotic cats. It is the only wild animal sanctuary of its kind in America, providing shelter to more than 70 animals, including many that were abandoned or orphaned by zoos or circuses and cannot survive in the wild. The reserve provides not only shelter for these animals but also expert veterinary care.
STRIP SCRIBBLES
Sir Elton John broke all sales records when the flamboyant entertainer turned TV pitchman to sell his new Captainand the Kid album for the QVC shop-at-home cable network. The live remote broadcast from his Caesars Palace theater was so successful that Elton has now decided to include "The Bridge" from the new CD for the first time in his "Red Piano" shows there. The new release marks the over 25-year collaboration between Elton and his writing partner Bernie Taupin, which has produced more than 20 chart-topping hits. ... My pal Russell Simmons is hailed as the original godfather of hip hop and at his party in OPM nightclub at Caesars Forum Shops he gave away copies of his first book 'The New American Dream.' Some lucky guests also got gift bags containing his personally designed Razr cell-phones and items from his Phat Farm clothing line.
