Pam Talks Love, Ryan Talks 'Idol' and more from the Wild Vegas Weekend

Continued from Vegas Weekend Part II: Paris Party Triumph

Part III: Temptation of the “The Pams”

Vivacious Pamela Anderson just loved our “Pam-o-rama” headline on Friday’s Luxe Life when we reported on her purchase of a new apartment at the Panorama Towers, built by multi-millionaire developer Laurence Hallier.

“It’s perfect now that I’m actually here. It’s given me more ideas. When I stay at the Palms until my penthouse is ready, I’d like the “L” removed so it can be called The Pams.” They just got a great sound to them” she giggled at the groundbreaking party for Pamorama Tower 3 where she will own the top floor primo pad next door in Tower 4.

Pamela Anderson and Laurence Hallier arriving at the Pam Panorama PETA party in Vegas “It’s going to have two stripper poles in it “she laughingly continued” and provocative photographer David LaChapelle will decorate it for me all in fun smooth stuff.” LaChapelle is the edgy creative designer for part of Sir Elton John’s Red Piano show at Caesars Palace which features a provocative Pamela stripper shoot! After she’d walked in arm in arm with 38-year-old multi-millionaire real-estate developer Laurence Hallier, who owns the breathtaking Panorama complex where Leonardo DiCaprio and Toby Maguire have bought homes, I asked them both separately to talk about headlines around the world linking them romantically. “We simply are just very good friends,” Hallier told me. “She’s a real great fun lady and we do see each other but we’re not having the mad love affair everybody’s been saying.” Hallier, who owns an all-luxury, drop-dead, stunning 6,300 sq. ft., 25th floor mini-mansion in Tower 1 with 180-degrees view of the famed Strip from its 3 story, floor- to-ceiling windows, played host to a slew of celebrities including Houston Rockets stars Tracy McGrady and Dikembe Mutombo -- the 7’2” court-star was staying at the Palms in a suite with extra-long beds!!

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, actress Jennifer Tilly with poker beau Phil Laak and actor Mickey Rourke carrying his 14-year-old dog, Lucky. Pamela had two special men-friends with her: Dan Matthews, V.P. and director of celebrity & media relations for PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) celebrating its 25th year and former Zumanity star-dancer Jesus Villa of the Cirque du Soleil show at NYNY, which Pamela often dropped in on!

Pamela Anderson and Robin Leach cuddleup and chat about love and the love of Vegas They kindly moved out as I got to chat with Pamela -- almost cuddled up together -- on a wall couch. She also denied romance rumors with Hallier and added, “I am dating and debating at the moment. There are several men friends. No, I won’t be back in Vegas next weekend for Kid Rock’s concerts at The Pams!! I haven’t decided on anybody special just yet. I’m not thinking about it because I’m still looking for that one real man in my life. I want to find that one special man -- because I really am that kind of a girl. Even when I move into my apartment here, it will be fun to look at the Strip, yet stay home. I can always run out and in five minutes dip my toe in all the Vegas excitement, but I can also get back home in five minutes and just live a quiet life with that special guy. That’s a plan this year!”

The party was a fundraiser for her favorite charity, PETA. She donated an autographed collection of her 11 Playboy magazine editions on which she graced the cover; a signed copy of her photo book American Icon and an autographed collection of her five DVD’s including the un-rated version of Barb Wire along with autographed copies of her two novels Star and Star Struck.

Out on the balcony overlooking the lights of the sizzling my friend Ryan Seacrest told me, like Pamela, he’s about to also become a new Vegas resident, “ It's not whether I’m going to buy an apartment, but the question is, which one am I going to buy here? This complex is unbelievable and I’m seriously in the process of negotiating that deal tonight to buy one. I’ll be spending a lot more time here than I have been in the past. I don’t believe we who come and visit, know what Vegas is really like, but there is an incredible city outside of the Strip. The most common question we all ask is what’s it like to live here? I’m about to find out.”

"For a lot of us in Hollywood, Vegas is the great escape and everybody there talks about it. Thursday rolls around and those phone calls start up: are you going to Vegas? Where are you going to stay? Who are you going with?  Vegas is just first class with its talent, its performances and its restaurants. So I’m going to live in one of these towers and still get the excitement of the tourist excitement, but also live in the other Vegas few visitors ever get to know about.”

Ryan and I also talked about American Idol. “This is definitely the best year -- and with such contestants as Chris Daltry and Taylor Hicks who’ve built up incredible fan bases, this is the year when any of the last 4 could be the winner. We got to the set at the start of the year and thought that after 5 years, when things slide and slowdown, we were prepared for the waning and eventual fall. But it’s a ratings juggernaut. It’s amazing because we are defying all logic in TV history. Five years on and we’re the strongest ever. If I knew the secret I would bottle it and sell it and use it for another show.”

As the party ended, Pamela took off with Dan and Jesus for the newly opened Red Rock Casino to join nightclub owner Rande Gerber and his supermodel wife Cindy Crawford at a private partyin his new Cherry indoor-outdoor playpen. (You’ll see photos and news of their next night’s grand celebrity opening in tomorrow’s Luxe Life so don’t miss out on one exciting edition- click that alert me tab uptop). Hallier took a group including Ryan and Mickey to dinner at FIX
in The Bellagio -- just a few tables away from the Paris-Stavros party we told you about earlier.

One wild weekend of beautiful blondes, a surprise Entourage wedding and a fiery bust-up. Only in Vegas folks!
