Lovebirds Lindsay Lohan and her Hard Rock Hotel tycoon beaufriend Harry Morton may have split up, and are spending this weekend deciding if their romance should continue. Late yesterday, after dinner at Hollywood's Chateau Marmont Hotel, they got into an argument and decided to breakup -- and both left separately. A tearful Lindsay pleaded with him by cell-phone, through the night, that they should try to make it work out. "It's just too much drama for Harry," said one of his LA friends. "He's been trying to tone down her wild side, but this past week has just been too much for him to handle." Indeed Luxe Life chronicled the past few traumatic days at the beginning of this week. "Friends confirmed last night's split but also add that they haven't completely broken up, but its a real touch and go situation," added Harry's pal. "There's nobody else involved, so they'll see if they can make it work and if not its caput."

Some Hollywood insiders reported that Lindsay had accused Paris Hilton of trying to steal Harry from Lindsay, but Paris has assured Lindsay face-to-face that those reports are pure lies!. The instantaneous romance began July 2 and they went public at the last Beacher's Madhouse comedy show in Harry's hotel; and then heated up with honeymoon-styled jaunts to Hawaii and Italy, followed by last weeks London and New York fiascos. Harry gifted her with a $150,000 Cartier diamond ring from the Beverly Hills jeweler which she wore on the 4th finger of her left hand. "She's still wearing it as an engagement ring and hoping they can repair the split," another Hollywood insider confirmed. Luxe Life will continue to monitor the touch-and-go romance and see if they are still together early next week! Incidentally, Nicky Hilton's beaufriend, HBO 'Entourage' star Kevin Connelly is en route to Vegas tonight for a bachelor-party weekend after punching Paris Hilton's friend, tycoon heir Brandon Davis to the floor at a Hollywood nightclub early this morning. Kevin's fisticuffs startled party guests but won him applause. He's due at the Light and Jet nightclubs at the Bellagio and Mirage tonight and tomorrow for bachelor party celebrations he's planned which also include weekend dinners at the Fix and Stack restaurants.
