Hard Rock Hotel tycoon Harry Morton has spoken for the first time about last weekend's breakup with actress Lindsay Lohan. Tonight on 'EXTRA' he confirms the split. "We're just sort of taking a little breather right now and slowing things down," says the 25-year-old owner of the Pink Taco restaurant group. "A lot of people started saying we're engaged. It put a lot of pressure on things. We need a little space." Harry also commented that he'd had a hard time dealing with being in such a high-profile relationship. "The media getting involved always makes it more difficult," he told Extra. "I'm a very private person. I'm sure she has dealt with it for years, but it put a lot of pressure on me." Even though Harry's friends have admitted that they broke up because he simply could not handle her volatile temper outbursts and drama with her mother, he added in a dignified tone, "I have nothing but the utmost respect for her."

Meantime wild-child Lindsay has been spotted this week playing her newly-single role to the hilt. She was seen cuddling, hand-holding and kissing with Paris Hilton's ex Stavros Niarchos, at L.A.’s Dragonfly club. And then, less than 48-hours-ago, she reunited at another LA nightspot with her former boyfriend Waldo Valderama of 'That 70's Show' fame. One of their Hollywood intimates commented about the merry-go-round of romance, "Lindsay is still hoping she and Harry get back together. The fling with Harry might not be over completely even though they're apart for now. She’s only being seen with Waldo and Stavros to make Harry jealous."
