Feeling Ecstatic
Hi Everyone!!! Yesterday was so nice that after seeing our cat Capsie lounging in the sun 
Carolyn and I decided to take a walk to the dam. We saw Gary the naturalist and he told us about a Great Horned owl nesting in the heron rookery. We went down there and found three others staring at the sight through binoculars. I got a couple of pictures but nothing too close and they were into the sun so we decided to come back today and see if we could do better. Well It was much better not only did we see the owl, though still too far to do it justice but we saw an eagle, several blue herons, A few goldeneye
, and this was right after we ran into the same couple as yesterday and we were discussing the probability of seeing herons this early. While there we also saw several common mergansers.
There was a man with a spotting scope and he got us close up to the owl.
It was cold out so we didn't stay long but I continue to be very pleased with my Panasonic Camera. As you can see it is great for taking birds flying etc.

Spring is upon us
There was a man with a spotting scope and he got us close up to the owl.
It was cold out so we didn't stay long but I continue to be very pleased with my Panasonic Camera. As you can see it is great for taking birds flying etc.
