Carolyn's first hike since her accident

Hi friends.  This will be a short entry but I just wanted to let everyone know that Carolyn and I went out on a two hour hike yesterday and she did just fine.  I only took a few pictures but I wanted all of you who showed interest in her health to see that she  is nearly fully recovered. Only a slight headache at this time and only at certain times.
The day was just beautiful.  It was windy but the meadows around the dam never looked more majestic.  We saw our first rose breasted grossbeak of the season and many turtles.  When we got back I took this picture from our garden . Thats all for now.  Will add more soon.

I just found your journal. I wanted to say I was sorry that your wife had fallen and hurt herself; I'm delighted she was feeling better and able to take this walk with you. Beautiful pictures! I know I find it serene and peaceful walking Pickles(my working dog, I'm deaf) in the woods. There is something to be said for quieting your mind and letting your heart absorb what your eyes see around you. (Hugs) Indigo

Hi there!    I was journal hopping this a.m. before starting work, and I came across yours....I really like it.   Wonderful photography.    Loved the moon shot, and the great shots of the birds.    "You dun good" as we like to say in Alabama.
