Rainy Day Entry and bogus battle of sexes

Woke up this morning to cool temperatures, rain, and wind. Frank doesn't want me going out right now not because I'm a delicate flower or anything but because the drivers around here are crazy. Slick roads makes them more dangerous than usual. So I'll wait. If I don't get my Hillary message out today I'll do it tomorrow when the forcast is better. I don't know if this will have any effect on the outdoor event tonight but thankfully the Austin Convention Center event will not be affected. Mom and Krys are going and I thought it would be cool to have the oldest and youngest attend. Here are the tickets for events held today.

Yesterday was Frank's birthday and I think a good time was had by all. First off I fixed him his favorite breakfast of ham, eggs over-easy, buscuits, and grits. Then later Derick Frankie, and Cyndi came over and joined Frank, Krys, Mom, and myself for a lunch of lasagna, salad, and garlic bread. This was topped off with pineapple upside down cake and vanilla ice-cream. We missed having Pam, Lauren, Rick, Evie, and Sandy and Olivia. Wish you all could have been here...oh and my maverick brother Ollie. ;-)

Woman 'Bests' Men at L.A. Marathon:LOS ANGELES (March 2) - Russia's Tatiana Aryasova made a smashing marathon debut Sunday, taking advantage of a head start on the male runners to win a a $100,000 bonus in the Los Angeles Marathon.

She held off a group of Kenyan men and finished in 2 hours, 29 minutes, 9 seconds to win the $100,000 bonus as part of "The Challenge," the men-vs.-women format that gave the top female runners a lead of nearly 20 minutes over the men. The time differential was chosen by race officials in hopes of creating a close finish. Kenya's Laban Moiben won the men's division in 2:13:50. Aryasova and Moiben each received $20,000 and a car for winning their divisions.

Sis, try the hike and bike; the  trail should still be walkable for the most part.

Have fun at your event; I am so envious!

    Happy Birthday to Frank too!
