Hillary still got the popular vote
I wish to state here that my brother never supported the Iraq war in any way shape or form. He just thought, like many others (Hillary included) that Saddam had WMD's. I see now how things can get edited out of a video and that your words can sometimes imply things that you never intended. I don't plan to be doing any more interviews about anything in the future. I got most of my info about the O Healthcare plan from here. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/04/opinion/04krugman.html?_r=1&oref=slogin and other places on thew web...including O's website. Also I said I wish I could see in O what my brother sees because I don't completely understand the attraction. He, (O) is charismatic, charming, nice looking, and a great orator. Good qualities, but I need something more. Best to keep my mouth shut except here on my little blog because nobody really cares what I write here anyway. And that's okay. It's just a stress reliever.
Delegates, smelegates, Hillary still got the popular vote here in Texas. I'm sick of hearing about the delegate count and spinning things to favor O. His message on 'Hope' and 'Change' are wearing thin. People are tired of hoping and wondering what exactly is gong to change since it seems like politics as usual on both sides. Oh, here is an untouched photo of me...does it make me less of a woman or ugly or something because I'm old and have wrinkles and age spots? Or does it matter that a top aide on O's side speaks out of both sides of his mouth about NAFTA? Neither side is squeaky clean and frankly (like I've said before) I'm getting tired of the personal attacks ...from both sides. Dragging parts of the Clinton's past that has nothing to do with the present like the horrible Lewinsky debacle is reprehensible and not funny and it would be the same as me dragging up O's drug use as a teen. I don't like any of that stuff. It's past, it's done. Hillary, please show them copies of your tax return so O's staff can go over it with a fine tooth comb and a magnifying glass. I'm sure they'll find something in it to whine about.
Risking more I'm going to tell you my take on the 'who do you want to answer the phone at 3 in the morning' ad. I didn't find it to be fearful or fearmongering like many in the media have described it to be. I found it comforting. When I first saw it I thought of Katrina and the recent tornados in Tenn. My thoughts were that we could rest easy because someone was there willing and able to take charge of things and take care of us. We wouldn't have to wait like we did for Bush and Co. to do something. Hillary was there getting things done. Guess I have a different mind set then some people but I did not get the 'scare' tactic vibe from it. Also I trust her judgement and don't think O's judgement is any better than hers is. On her international experience...at least she's been privy to and taken part in international affairs such as the inhumane treatment of women in China. Guess that was just frivolous First Lady stuff like Nancy Reagan's Just Say No campaign. Seems no one wants to give her credit for anything except OMG...she voted for the war!!! She has said she wishes she could have her vote back but again that's history it's done...let's move on from there. If any of us has never made a bad decision that we wish we could undo then bless you because you are indeed special.
Took my thyroid ultra-sound this morning. Seems I have several nodules but that's all the technician could tell me. Guess the doc will call if further tests or treatments are needed. No need to worry until there is something to worry about. Oh, it's cold and rainy today and very windy so I didn't walk- also I'm a little nauseous from the test because you have to hold your head back for a long time and that always makes me a little queasy.
