Don't mind me I'm just from the Blue Collar bunch
I'm annoyed and tend to rant and rave and say things that may seem harsh but are just things that are bouncing around in my mind. I read some of Newsweek because it had a story on the poll that suggests Sen. Clinton has really been closing the national gap between her and Sen. Obama. That warms the cockles of my heart but reading other stories there just annoyed me and yes, seriously ticked me off. That the data contains some truths and some distortions makes no matter here...it's my blog, right? Some say Sen. O is smarter than Hillary but I guess a woman who graduated with honors from Wellesley, valedictorian of her class, and then went on to graduate from Yale Law School cannot be as smart as a man who graduated from Harvard Law School. You see you can easily be impressed if you are a member of the great unwashed, uneducated, blue collar, mindless bunch of misfits who support her. Guess we should step aside and let Sen. Obama's constituents who are white collar, intellectual, college educated people make the decisions for us because we don't have enough brain matter to select a good candidate. Wow, I had no idea I was so stupid. Uneducated yes, but stupid, no. Some say Sen. Clinton is seeking the office simply because she thinks she deserves it and discount the years and years of public service she has spent serving that same public. Goes to the argument that powerful women are perceived as self-serving bitches and Sen. Obama just wants the office of president for a noble higher cause and he's just an all around good guy with no agenda. That is such a load of crap that it makes your head hurt if you think about it too much. A pox on all of you pundits who talk and talk and talk and say nothing. Just who in the heck are you and what have you ever done for anyone that makes your thoughts, your words, better than mine. I stand by my choice and unless something happens to change my mind sometimes between now and November, I will hold my nose and take one for the party if she doesn't get the nod...but I won't like it.
On a lighter note below is a photo of the first bluebonnets of 2008 that I've seen. Ladybird Johnson certainly did the state a favor when she had wildflowers like these sown along the road and hill sides. Also there are a couple of pictures from Evie's Blog (the link can be found on this blog (Mente a la Mano). She has several photos from the wedding she offciated in Portland and from Orcas Island where she had a wonderful spa weekend.

There are idiots supporters on both sides of this ticket ...just asking but is calling Hillary a "monster" not a put down?

If you want an example of a put down:

:)
To my knowledge, no Obama official has done that to Clinton supporters.

1. Power called HRC a monster; she did NOT put down her supporters. .
2. Power is no longer associated with the Obama campaign; she was asked to step down and she did. Buffenbarger is still active with the Clinton campaign. WJC, who said that O caucus supporters were those "who did not need a president" is still, ahem, very active.
Note: when I went to B&N, Power's book was for sale. I thought about buying you a copy but you might use it to make a fire. :-)
