Bupkiss

Ah it's that time of the year again when there are hundreds of college basketball games cluttering up the television airwaves. The only team I really notice is Gonzaga and that's because I think the name is cool. Otherwise the game leaves me a little bit bored. Frank is loving it though so I'm here on the computer posting stuff.

On 3-13-98 I made 3.130 miles and today 3-14-08 I walked only 2.767 miles. It was 66 when I woke up and got warmer from there shooting up to over 90. It is 85 as I write this at 9 o'clock at night! Yucks. Hot and humid, not my favorite walking weather.

I was intrigued watching the video of Hillary and Obama on the Senate floor. It would seem that political adversaries get along better than their supporters do. Guess it's true what they say, politics make strange bedfellows.

I'm posting this video of Lauren (our youngest granddaughter) singing at a dinner show with a the Youths on Broadway group that she belongs to. The whole gang of them are headed to New York City on the 17th for spring break. They'll do the usual tourist stuff like Staten Island, take in a live theater show, and take part in a mock audition. I know she's looking forward to it while at the same time her Mom is freaking out that her baby is going to tooling around one of the biggest cities in the world. ;-) I'm sure they will be well chaperoned and taken care of though. We're very excited for her. In the video Lauren is the tallest girl with short dark hair and she starts the song off. The second video is of my trying to jog a few months ago. Don't laugh too hard, this could be you if you wait too long to exercise and get in shape like I did.

  My niece, a star is born, they did pretty good with the song and dance routine. Jogging, yuk, made me tired just watching ;) Good camera work though, when can we expect "Survival Woman" to come out? LOL
